'Boss..... that is what i have been trying to explain '

'who is that girl singing on the stage? Mateo pointed at Mirabella on the stage 'What happened to the popular artist we called?'

'Boss his manager called that they were attacked and robbed on there way here?'

'What! Such an excuse? Really?'

' Boss he's not lying it's all over social media.' Nate brought out his phone to show him something but before Mateo could get to see what he has Wayne jumped on him and hugged him tight.

'Mat am really emotional right now, You see that girl right there?' he free him and pointed towards Mirabella on stage 'she has been bursting everyone's brain with her music since' he said and fixed his gaze more intense on Mateo now 'who is she?'

Now Mateo woke to reality, he doesn't know who she is aswell. He then faced Nate and made an head gesture meaning he should answer

'who is she?'Mateo repeat the question as if Nate didn't know what the question was.

'Erm.... Boss, you see when the Artist manager called that they won't be able to make it, Mirabella offer to help.'

' Hmmm Mirabella, that's her name, not only a beautiful voice also a beautiful.....'Wayne couldn't complete his statement when Mateo cut-in

'who is she?.... that's the question...'

' Boss she's one of our new employee, I was told the manager took her and few others in cos of the new restaurant I remembered you specifically order the recruitment.

'True.... but what's her performance so far, did you even ask her to sing before putting her up there?'

'Boss, it was an emergency I couldn't delay the customers any longer and from the look of things people are enjoying her'

'Mat will you relax, the girl is good, for a moment i forgot my problems and all ? Wayne commented but Mateo is not too satisfied as he believed Wayne plays with everything even tho he wonder how he keep his Dark nights away from people.

'Was there a time you act like you have one?' Mateo said and moved closed to the customers who seems to be lost in the moment, some dancing to the soft beat while sitting while some moving hands in hands with there lovers on there feet. Mateo was able to speak to few who manage to replied him saying they're enjoying themselves with the music and also the service while some were too carried away to notice him.

'Men, seems the girl is good, everyone is enjoying themselves.' Mateo said when he got back to where Nate and Wayne were standing.

' See? I told you not to worry' Wayne replied still looking straight to the stage where Mirabella was singing.

'And you Wayne, am here to query you, where were you when I was cutting the ribbon?' he questioned with less anger as his anger has subdued.

Nate excused himself cause he's not too sure what's about to happen between those drama masters.

'Common Mat, all for your good trust me, I was here finding you a sister-in-law?'

'What!! sister what? You talk lots of nosense .

'Not this time, look up there' He pointed at the stage and Mateo follow his eyes and finger only to found him pointing at Mirabella.

'If not that I know you don't drink I would have say you're drunk. Am the one who ask you to start rolling with girls and now that you want to agree with me it's my employee you want first.'

'who's following your advice? Am not interested in girls, just this one up there?'

'You're not normal' Mateo left to the stage as he was wondering how Wayne is able to show people his happy sides even tho he's dying inside.

Few minutes later Mateo was on stage, he collected the mic and the music stopped as people were screaming and clapping 'Thank you so so much for tonight, we invited you and you all stood despite your busy schedules to see how our services work and to check out our foods and drinks too,thank you so much' people screamed and clapped again. ' Our business line is the one moving on the screen right now' he said pointing at the wide projector him ' Do send us messages or send us email, that's our email below the number tell us what you see about services, our entertainment and place order or book a seat at the V.I.P underground or even here, we'll love to serve you, Thank you.' Everyone screamed and clapped again. It took another 20 minutes for the hall to became empty, after which Wayne offer to take Mateo to a nearby hotel to lounge and gist for the rest of the night as they always do whenever they are too stressed to go home or they are far away from home and don't want to go on long drive.

They left as Wayne signal something to Nate while Nate nod in agreement.

'what was that?'Mateo asked Wayne.

'I just asked him to take your car and follow us'

'Since when did you start talking to my assistant with signs'

' Since now, let's go' Wayne replied and pushed him forward with a slight push.

Few minutes later at Hotel luxryo, a five star hotel with Gold interiors...

'Mehn you've gat taste in luxury things Wayne, I wish this how much you love enjoying girls.'

'You know that day I'll love enjoying girls will never come, Guy I just want one woman who will suck all my pains and give me happiness in return'

'You'll have to wait till next generation you know?'

'I wouldn't mind' Wayne said and smile...

Wayne signal to the receptionist who just told him to go ahead

'what's that?'

'what's what?'

'I mean why did she just ask you to go ahead, where's the card?'

'I have it, common let's go.'

Mateo looked back and still saw the girl on the counter smiling

'I wonder who she's smiling at if it's me then she doesn't know what she's signing up for' Mateo always knew he's cute with no deny, whenever he step into a building his physique alone command respect, that's how he had been able to keep lots of girls without having to spend much of his money on them. But whenever he's with Wayne he looks less attractive because Wayne even tho not as tall as him has this mad dark skin every girls want to feel, Wayne workout less than him but still looked more built, his styles are always unique he even dress that way to his office at times 'how does he always escape those seductive looks at his office even tho most of his staffs are ladies' Mateo thought to himself and smile.

' Mateo are you fine?' Wayne called out third time poking Mateo shoulder.

'Yes, yes.. Wayne do you remember Dennis?'

'What!!' Wayne exclaimed as if sneezing it out with screamed.' Don't make me kill you Mateo don't bring my nightmare before me.' Wayne said and went ahead Mateo while Mateo followed laughing at him.

Dennis was a model who once worked with Wayne and had mistaken Wayne for a gay, he frustrated Wayne back then hoping to win him over. Wayne had to take a break from work for the guy to complete his contract due date with his magazine company. As if that was not enough he kept following Wayne, stalking him wherever he goes till he arrested him and police warned him never to repeat it or he'll land in Jail.

Wayne also smile at the memories as they enter enter a dark passage

'what? why is it dark in here?' Mateo asked

'Just hold me, we're almost there' Mateo did as Wayne said and they work a little before Wayne opened a door to another dark room.

At that moment Mateo felt something is not right and stopped .

' I thought we're here to rest, what's going on? please let's go back'

'We're not going back Mateo, you're coming in with me' Wayne replied with a deep and slightly scary voice

'what!!!' Mateo exclaimed as he remember how Wayne has been acting weird since earlier, coming late to his launching, disappearing on him, making signs with his P.A and just a moment ago the receptionist signal to him to go ahead without him collecting card or signing anything and looking back she was still smiling...'Is this the friends betraying friends they always talk about' Mateo thought and was about to runback when he hit his body against a strong body. He got confused immediately,his head started spinning and he started loosing his footing.

'This not Wayne, Wayne is at this side,then who's this? this person smell is familiar.' He moved closer to the body again and noticed they're about the same height ' oooh!!! this Nate, I should have known but what's going on? why will they want to do this?'
