67 - It's time to tell you the truth

I've been waiting for a car since I left the hospital. I dismissed the driver because where I have to go now is a secret I can't share with any acquaintances. No one directly connected to my family and who could be bribed.

I didn't want to have to come to this point and collect this debt, but it's getting too far. Three attacks in less than two months, I feel like I have to do something. I get into the car the app indicated, and it heads to the slums of Rookgaard. It seems like a city parallel to our reality. The streets are dirty and dark. There isn't much infrastructure in these parts.

The smell of open sewage predominates much of the way. The driver gives me an intrigued look before stopping the car at the entrance to Venice Beach, because no non-resident visits the neighborhood. Everything seems very disorganized compared to the uniform blocks I'm used to.
