Back in Washington, D.C.

After meeting Sebastian once, Alice officially assumed the role of his secretary, as the previous secretary had left to take her maternity leave.

In the first few days, her job was very easy. She just answered Sebastian's calls, organized his schedule, and sorted documents. But one night, while she was fast asleep, she received a phone call from Sebastian.

"You should come to the Plum Blossom Club immediately," Sebastian instructed from the other end of the phone, and upon hearing this, Alice's drowsiness vanished immediately.

"Sir, do you need anything?" Alice asked.

"Yes, that's why I called you here!" Sebastian replied. "Hurry up, and stop dawdling. I'll give you twenty minutes, and I don't like people being late." After Sebastian finished speaking, he hung up the phone.

Alice hung up her phone and had no choice but to get out of bed. She found a white shirt in the closet and paired it with a knee-length black skirt. She put on her backpack, called a taxi,
