“I can’t be bothered to be concerned for you any longer,” Mrs. Scott said, pushing Laurence away.

Zoey felt discomfort in her heart upon seeing how upset Mrs. Scott was. “Don’t be so upset, Mrs. Scott; it’s bad for your health,” she said as she poured a glass of water for her mother-in-law.
