Chapter 4: Hurting the one, she love

"You should stop here." Mandy told the driver, he packed hoping that it was just Noor that would get down but Mandy was alighting also. 

"Sorry ma! You can't go in with him." 

"Why?" Noor asked, he was getting irritated, the way Lauren had looked at him, had made him suspicious. 

"It's an order from the boss." The driver replies, Mandy looks at him. 

"She is my girlfriend, not your boss' wife," Noor yelled in anger

"Don't worry, I will just chat you up for what we discussed." Noor didn't say a word, he got down in anger, the driver took Mandy home, and she was right in front of Sharon. 

"You are gone the whole day, don't you think it's bad to be with another man and you are getting married." 

"Sharon, let me be." 

"Let you be, you are still seeing that low life." 

"He is not..." Mandy is at her limit, she pushes Sharon. 

"Don't call him that, he is not a lowlife," Mandy yelled at Sharon, she could take anything but insult on the man she loves, which is a no-no for her. 

"Oh, you want to fight me?" Sharon knows their mother is there, she fakes tears. Mother, Mandy is fighting with me. 

"Mandy..."

"What is going on here?" Edward's thunder voice came behind them making them turn, Susan would have hit Mandy if Edward hadn't shown up. 

"Is it not this stupid..."

"Sharon, you don't use that language in my house," Edward yelled at her, she frowned, she didn't know the reason her dad didn't take sides with her. 

"Sorry Dad, I was only trying to advise Mandy, that it's bad to still be seeing her boyfriend when she is getting married to another, it might lead to scandal..." Edward moves his eyes from Sharon to Mandy, his eyes are cold, and he is not friendly anymore with his appearance, Mandy just doesn't understand her beloved father. 

"Sorry, I will just break up with him." Mandy ran upstairs as she said it, Edward closed his eyes to suppress the pain, he knew his daughter was broken, she felt her heart just crash, how could she end a relationship that she had built for four years, break the heart of the man, she loves for years, it hurt, she hit the mirror, making it fall in pieces, she hurt her hand in the process, she ties it with handkerchief not minding the blood coming out from it, she is heading out again. 

"Where are you going?" Susan yelled. 

"To do what you all want from me, I will break up with him but please just let me spend this day with him, just two days, I will be fine, I will never text him or chat with him after my marriage, I beg you, just this once." Edward raised his hand for the security to let her pass she hugged Edward but he couldn't bring himself to hug her, he had done enough damage to his little princess. Mandy ran out, got her car, and when she arrived at Noor, he was standing outside, she hugged him and cried, she cried on his shoulder, Noor seemed lost, he just let her cry. 

"Shush! That is enough." She sat on the floor, Noor got the first aid, he was caring for her hurt hand, and she held his hand. 

"Sorry, I am sorry." Noor looks at her. "I will be getting married by next weekend..."

"What?" Noor yelled, you promised me, you told me that you would never marry another, yes, you promised. 

"Relax Babe, he said we will break up after six months, then you and I could be together forever but..." Noor gasped for air in relief but hearing her add the word, "but" threw him in confusion.

"It's good news, why then did you hurt your hand? We two can still be..."

"Noor, I can't be with you for those six months, I can't be seen with you, you know it's bad, to be married and be seen with another, they've labeled me an adulteress, I will just have to cut every bond with..."

"Wait, do you want to break up with me?" Noor tears drop, and he sees this coming, he knows that Mandy will never want to keep him after the marriage, that is the reason he wants to elope with her, and he is not going to survive without her. 

"Babe, is not like that, you and I will get back to each other after six months but for now, I just want us to separate..." 

"It's the same thing, you want to hurt me, you want to break my heart because I am poor and he is rich, he has all the fame while I have nothing, a broke guy depending on you..."

"No, that is not true, I love you and you know that, I don't want that kind of life, I will never hurt you..."

"But you are hurting me, you are piecing a knife right into my heart, just a single push, I am dying slowly." 

Mandy's tears dropped, as she saw the pain in Noor's eyes, it hurt her too, she hugged him, circling her hand around his neck, and after some minutes, he pushed her from him. 

"I am sorry, just be patient with me, I beg you and everything will go back to normal, six months is just like tomorrow." 

"Mandy go away." Noor words were hurting, she looked at him. "Go away and don't show yourself to me again." 

"Noor stop, don't..."

"I said leave." He walked passed her and pulled the door, Mandy fell to her knees, and she cried but Noor grabbed her hand and pushed her outside. 

"I am sorry, I beg you...' She hugged him, and Noor's tears dropped but he had to let go for his happiness and that of Mandy's, she saw that no matter how she begged Noor, he would not change his mind, that is what she wanted but for just six months but Noor breakup is forever. Noor shut the door, she cried on his doormat folding her legs while Noor cried inside the room sitting by the door. 

After crying for a while, Mandy tap the door four times. 

"I know you can hear me, whenever you hear this tap four times, know that, is I love you forever." She wiped her face and went home, Noor opened the door, he saw her car going but he didn't stop her. 

"Huh!" He yelled with much pain in his heart, how could she hurt the one, she loved, Mandy sat on the floor beside her car, she cried, Edward was watching her, he had been waiting for her, he thought she would not return, he expected her to run away but she didn't. She is back, back to her pain, if she had run away, Edward would have forced Sharon into the marriage, saying that Mandy was nowhere to be found but she was here, and that will never be possible, after crying for long, she walked inside, straight to her room, she sits on the floor resting her head on the bed, the pain will not let her sleep, she didn't even have her dinner. 

One minute, she has the best relationship, and the next she throws it away with her hand, not she but Edward, who had thrashed her dreams, her father is the curse.
