Lily’s Point of View

“You’re insane, Simon!” I spat, my voice quivering with anger and disbelief. His charming demeanor crumbled instantly as I spoke.

“After three years, this is what you have to say to me?” I glared at him, my eyes wide with disbelief. I threw the sheets off my body, as I stood, with anger, and faced him.

“Lily, I’m sorry,” Simon said, his tone sober, but the sincerity in his eyes almost made me believe him.

“You left me, Simon. You left!” I choked on the words as tears began to stream down my cheeks, my voice breaking with each sob. My hands trembled as I tried to wipe them away, but they kept coming.

“I know I did, Lily,” he said softly, his eyes cast down, “but I came back as soon as I could. You had left the apartment. I found out you had graduated and moved. I didn’t know where to find you.”

“And when was this, Simon?” I demanded, my voice strained as I fought to keep my tears at bay. My eyes were heavy with unshed tears, and I refused to let him see me co

Thomas’ Point of View“Thomas,” her voice low, as it called out to me. Her eyes wide with apprehension. She looked like she had been crying, her eyes red and glistening with tears.“I could hear you screaming from the hallway,” I said, stepping closer to her. “What’s wrong, Lily? Why are you crying?”She hesitated and my concern grew as her eyes darted away from mine. My eyes flickered to Simon, who stood close. I couldn’t read his expression. “Did I miss something?” I asked, trying to piece together what had happened in my absence.Simon shifted uneasily. “Lily and I…” he began, but Lily cut him off.“I was just… I got emotional, and Simon happened to be here,” she said, wiping her eyes with the back of her hand. She avoided my gaze, focusing on the floor instead. “I glanced between the two of them, suspiciously. “Simon has only just arrived,” I noted, confused.“Yes,” Lily agreed, her voice steadier now. “I should leave you both. Have a good night, Tom, Lily,” Simon said, and wit

Lily’s Point of View “How’s my favorite girl doing?” My mum giggled as she entered the guest room I’d been settled in. “Hi Mum,” I smiled, greeting her with a hug as Lizzy, one of the staff rolled my suitcase in. “Thank you,” I said to Lizzy. She offered a polite smile and left. “Oh…Lily, I’m glad to see you looking better today.” “I am mum. Yesterday. was, too much for me. I didn’t expect the turn of events.” “I understand. You know, surprises can be heartwarming, especially when you think of all the effort put into them.” “Yeah. But not an unwelcome surprise or a bad turn of event no one saw coming.” “Yes. You’re right. Fortunately for us though, ours was great. You’re going to have a luxurious wedding. And the best part of it all, you won’t have to pay a dime,” she giggled. I chuckled, staring at her before grabbing the suitcase and placing it on the bed. “What? Did I say something wrong?” “No, It’s just…how can we be mother and daughter and still be so diff

Simon’s Point of ViewMy thoughts had been a mess since the night I arrived and saw Lily again. It’d been three years since I last saw her. Yet, my world paused every time I laid eyes on her. She stood in the kitchen, her focus on the knife as she spread butter on her bread. I wondered what she was thinking as I walked in. I could tell I had interrupted her the moment she spotted me. She looked tense, her hand gripping the knife a little too tightly. She glared at me alarmed. “What are you doing here?”I stepped forward before she could move, my body pressing against the counter, blocking her path. “Lily, we need to talk.”“Move away, Simon. I’ll hurt you if you don’t,” she threatened, raising the knife to my face. I didn't move, my eyes locking onto hers. I was pissed at myself for leaving her, but I had to make her hear me out. “Please, Lily. Just listen.”She stared at me. “Give me one reason why I shouldn’t cut your throat after what you did.”Slowly, I reached out, taking he

Lily’s Point of View The loud music welcomed me and the guys as we entered the club. I sat between the two brothers, uncomfortable and predictably so. “Are you okay?” Simon asked, his brown eyes observing me like he was ready to attend to my every need. “Yes,” I lied. Of course, I wasn't okay. How could I be? I was sitting between the love of my life and my fiance. Each of them wanted a piece of me. To top it all, they were brothers. “You’re sweating, and you don't seem relaxed. Are you sure everything is okay?” he asked again, leaning closer. My tense posture had given me away, for sure. I nodded, reluctant to lie again. “Lily, you should have left your bad behavior at home. I have told you before, you won’t always have it your way,” Thomas murmured, his voice almost a growl, leaning closer to me. “If I could have my way, I’d be at home, probably sleeping by now,” I muttered, my eyes darting to the floor to avoid his gaze. “You’re proving my point. Simon’s Point of View Lily’s eyes were still sharp, but she looked lost in thought. She went quiet. What could she be thinking? I wondered. Leaving Lily was a decision that haunted me every day since I made it. I should have tried harder to find her. I didn’t because I was ashamed of how I left things between us and afraid she wouldn’t take me back. Now, life had brought us together again in the cruelest way. I hated that I wanted my brother’s woman. No—correction—my woman, the one he stole. I can’t back off from Lily. He isn’t right for her. I wanted to just tell him about my past with Lily and that I’ve made up my mind to win her back. Even though I know Lily is right. Thomas wouldn’t let her go without a fight. Not because he loved her, but because of his pride and need for control. Thomas and I have a complicated relationship. It could have been better without his mum. I hate her guts. I’m sure she had a hand in my mother’s death, and I’ll prove it one day. They always took ever

Lily’s Point of ViewI hoped he wouldn’t follow me as I quickened my steps, finally reaching my room and shutting the door. I exhaled. I pressed my ear against the door, listening for any sign of him. All I heard was silence. I exhaled again. Why was he tormenting me? It was hard enough being in the same place as him, and he made sure he was always around. Did he have to bring all that up? I’d tried to forget him. I spent the last three years fueling my anger to keep him out of my thoughts for good. So why did it feel like my anger was fading? I should hate him, but I don’t. Why couldn’t I look him in the eye and tell him I didn’t love him? Damn it. He’d probably think I’m still in love with him. Darn it. Am I… still in love with him? I never let myself think that before. But here he is, showing up in my life and making me confront the thought I feared most: that I still love him after everything. And maybe, just maybe, I could fall for him again.Oh God, I can’t be thinking this. How

Simon’s Point of ViewI sped down the hallway to my room, slamming the door behind me. Had I ruined everything? I could have sworn she still loved me. The look in her eyes gave her away—she wasn’t over me yet. I wondered what my next move should be. Was I trying too hard? Should I let go of Lily and watch her marry Thomas? The thought of it tore me apart. I missed Lily. I missed her being close to me, the way her smile lit up when she walked into my office. Those months we spent working together, our first night together—it blew my mind. I wanted more. I needed more. I had to be with her, feel her close to me, again and again. But it’d be impossible if she married Thomas. I have to win her back. I can’t give up. If I wanted to do this right, I needed to show her I was serious this time. I wasn’t going to walk away again. I was here to stay, to finish what we started. Tonight showed me that with just the right amount of pressure, she’d be mine again. Stay consistent, I told myself. Bu

Thomas’ Point of View I walk into the office, determined not to let last night throw me off. Simon has barely arrived, and already he’s trying to pull Lily to his side. Does she really think I’ve been too hard on her, or is Simon just twisting things to suit his agenda? Either way, it doesn’t matter—I haven’t lost sight of my goal: getting Lily to marry me. But she isn’t making it easy. She expects me to act in ways that go against everything I am. I’m not about to let myself be ruled by a woman’s emotions or whims, no matter how much she wants that. I know she does. Still, I think I’ve given her just enough to show her what she can expect from me. Simon’s meddling could have messed it up, but it’s handled now. If Lily thinks I’ll put any more effort into winning her over, she’s mistaken. My patience is wearing thin. A wife’s role is clear: someone to care for me, satisfy my needs, and give me children. Why can’t she just accept that? Just as I’m settling into work, ready to put i

Thomas’ Point of ViewSimon drove us back home while my driver followed closely behind. I’d been drinking a lot—wasn’t drunk yet, but I was definitely on the verge. Simon, on the other hand, was more sober than I was. At least we’d cleared the air, so things wouldn’t be awkward between us. I was used to the chaos, but awkwardness between us was unfamiliar. I could tell Simon was still furious from seeing Lily and me together in the office. But was that anger because he thought I’d crossed a line, or was it because he was jealous? He’d probably been fantasizing about my wife, but I was smart enough to marry her before he could make a move. I gave him a subtle warning; that should be enough to make him back off.I got out of the car and headed inside the mansion. I didn’t bother looking back to see if Simon was following me—I was too lost in my own thoughts. I walked up the stairs until I reached my room. My hand swung the door open, and I stepped inside. There was Lily, her slender fig

Simon’s Point of View I stared at him, fighting the urge to punch him now that he was right in front of me. That sly smile of his, the arrogant prick. Maybe I shouldn’t have come after all. Our eyes locked with a fierce intensity.“I wasn’t sure I’d make it either,” I managed to say, my face hardening as I glared at him.“Don’t look so angry, Simon. Brothers can hang out.”I stared in disbelief. Was he trying to patronize me? “Why did you invite me here?” I went straight to the point. He raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised by my directness.“I see. Being straight to the point, are we, older brother?” he teased with that infuriating smile, but I could see right through him—and he knew it.I stayed quiet, leaning back in my chair, waiting for him to tell me why we were really here. I had said I would get closer to Tom, but that didn’t change the fact that I was angry—no, I was beyond that. For the first time, I felt something deeper, darker. It wasn’t just jealousy. It was more than t

  • Love in Chaos: Falling For My Billonaire Husband’s Brother   CHAPTER 71: TENSION IN THE ROOM

Simon’s Point of ViewMalcolm and I got back in the car and continued the drive to see Miranda. The tension between us was high, like a wall neither of us was willing to break down. He avoided my gaze the entire ride, clearly still upset. I knew why. Malcolm only wanted one thing—justice for Simone—and he was ready to sacrifice anything for it. As I thought about it, I realized I’d never seen Malcolm with a woman or even heard him mention one. No wonder he was so mad. He probably thought my feelings for Lily would ruin everything. His hatred for Jessica ran deep after what she did to Simone, and it seemed like he extended that distrust to all women. He should take his own advice from earlier and live a little. When we arrived, I parked the car, and we got out. I walked up to the door and knocked. It took a moment before Miranda opened it, her face lighting up when she saw me.“Hi, Mr. Simon,” she said with a bright smile.“Hello, Miranda,” I replied warmly as I stepped inside, with M

Simon’s Point of ViewI got in the driver's seat without answering, slamming the door harder than I intended. Malcolm watched me for a second before getting in the passenger seat. I started the engine, and we began driving toward the safe house I had set up for Miranda. The tension in the car grew with the silence between us.“Talk to me, man. What’s got you this twisted up?” Malcolm broke the silence, clearly concerned.I stared straight ahead, too focused on the road, trying to piece together the right words. One of my hands ran through my hair absentmindedly, a habit I found myself doing frequently in the midst of all this chaos. Finally, I exhaled.“I need to tell her,” I said, my voice quieter than I had planned.Malcolm raised an eyebrow, glancing at me briefly before looking back at the road. “Tell who? What?”“Lily.” Saying her name out loud made me realize I had already said too much, but it was too late to take it back. I could see Malcolm’s mind working, putting all the pie

Simon’s Point of ViewI gaped at her, wondering how she was going to take it. She was silent for a brief second, like she froze.“A divorce!” Lily repeated, her eyes wide with shock.“I don’t see another way out of this, Lily.”“It’s because of her, isn’t it?” she started, and I looked at her, confused about where this was going. “Angelina,” she added. “She’s the reason you want a divorce, isn’t she?” She glared at me.“Lily, are you kidding me right now? No, I want a divorce because I saw you sleeping with my brother in his office.”She fell silent. She looked away, clearly embarrassed. Then, she looked back at me. “You’re not my favorite person, Simon, but I didn’t mean for you to see that.”“But I did, and I can’t get it out of my head.” How could I? That image was living rent-free in my mind, and I had no clue how to get rid of it.“Just like I can’t stop thinking about you and Angelina. How long have you been seeing her, huh?” she snapped back.“Lily, we can’t just ignore this an

Simon’s Point of ViewI slammed the door shut, leaning against it as I ran my fingers through my hair. Each step I took felt harder than the last, like a heavy weight dragging me down. I turned, devastated, running my hand through my hair again. Anger built inside me like a wave I couldn’t stop. I was furious.“Are you okay, Mr. Simon?” Amelia’s voice broke through the fog in my head.I turned to face her. “No,” I snapped and started walking away. She called after me, asking if I needed anything, but I waved her off. I needed to get out of here. This was madness. How had things gotten this far? My brother and I were caught up in the same mess with the same woman. I knew Tom and Lily were sleeping together—it was expected, they were married—but seeing it right in front of me? That was something else. It was like a punch to the gut.But the worst part? Tom had wanted me to see it. He sent that message, inviting me to his office, knowing what I’d walk in on. Lily’s Point of ViewDays turned to weeks, and my torment continued. Living in the same house with both my husbands and my unbearable mother-in-law was draining. I tossed and turned on my bed, a frown settled on my face. Staying home wasn’t helping me get over Simon. Seeing him at breakfast or dinner was already hard enough, but watching him with Angelina was worse. Was he telling her the same things he used to tell me?Was he sleeping with her? I couldn’t blame him if he was. After all, I’d married Tom, and he had a demanding need for sex. I’d been trying so hard to make my marriage with Tom work, and if intimacy was the way to hold onto my husband—well, my second husband—I had to do it. I couldn’t let this marriage fail, not with Simon looming in the background, ready to say “I told you so.”Jeez, I’m definitely going to lose it. I’ve been with two brothers. Sure, Simon and I hadn’t been together since I married Tom, but that didn’t make it sound any less insane. How did I end up he

Lily’s Point of ViewI had been doing my best to avoid Simon as the days passed. It was hard, but I didn’t see any other way. Every time I looked at him, I felt a wave of anger wash over me. His girlfriend, Angelina, had been visiting regularly, and they seemed to enjoy each other's company a lot. At least, that's what I noticed during dinner. I tried to avoid Simon’s gaze, but I couldn’t stop myself from seeing them out of the corner of my eye. Her hands were always unnecessarily glued to his arm, and I couldn’t help but feel like she was doing it on purpose to make me jealous. But then again, how could she know about Simon and me? There’s no way he’d have told her, right? Still, her hands remained on him, and I began to wonder if he was playing both of us. I couldn’t deny it—Simon and Angelina looked happy together. Maybe Angelina more than Simon, but they still looked good together. Watching them made me sick to my stomach. I had to find a way to get back at him. There was no way

Simon’s Point of View“Lily, is he awake?” I asked anxiously, moving closer to her. It seemed like she was talking to Geoffrey, but from where I stood, I couldn't see his face. I wasn’t sure if she was actually speaking to him. There was a trace of fear in her eyes. When I looked at my father’s face, he still seemed unconscious. “Lily, what happened? Is he okay?”“I believe so,” she said quietly, glancing back at him.“Did he wake up, even just for a little while?” I pressed, hoping for some good news.“I’m sorry,” she shook her head, and my gaze dropped, disappointed, before I looked back at her.“Thank you for being here,” I smiled softly. “I appreciate it.”“You’re welcome. He’s my father-in-law now. So, I do care about him.”“Twice,” I said, a small smile tugging at the corners of my lips.“What?” she looked puzzled, unsure of what I meant.“You married me and then Tom, that makes him your father-in-law twice over,” I chuckled lightly. She looked pale, turning back to Geoffrey as
