After lunch, I drove Katie back to the work building and she was letting me use her truck since she is on duty, so I drove to the DMV. I didn’t care that I was in uniform, I just needed a new driver’s license, since I only had a few weeks until mine expired, and because I now live in a different state. I parked her truck and went into the DMV. There weren’t too many people here, so hopefully I’d be out of here in about an hour. I filled out the necessary paperwork and waited in line. There were only 6 people in front of me. By the time I got to the front counter, I glanced behind me and there was about 20 people behind me. Ok, so this DMV is just as busy as the one back home in New York. It doesn’t take long for the place to get busy at all.

The lady at the counter took my paperwork, and my current driver’s license and signaled me to stand against the wall, and smile. I stood there, in my uniform, and didn’t do a full-on smile, I only

I made my way to Katie’s office and knocked on the door. “It’s open” she called out and I opened the door. She was laying on the floor, in the middle of her office, which was carpeted, with her laptop in front of her, and her backpack as a pillow. I laughed. “What are you doing?” I laughed and titled my head, confused. “Watching True Blood. I am so bored. There is only 2 other people on duty in my office, and one is sleeping because he is on overnight watch, and the other is outside on the phone with her husband.” “So, you are laying on the floor, because?” I left the question in the open. “Because my butt hurts from sitting at the desk.” She answered. “Gimme my food and leave me alone.” I burst out laughing and pulled her grilled chicken and rice out of the cooler bag and handed her a Pepsi.” “Oh! You are the best Sis!”I rolled my eyes and told her to enjoy the rest of duty

I had my tv on quietly, in my living room, and was busy in my kitchen baking cookies. I was bored, and it was only 8 pm. I decided to make chocolate chip cookies. Katie was on watch, she texted me that she had watch, so she couldn’t be on her phone, and was on watch until midnight. Tyler was sleeping already because he was taking watch from midnight till 4am. He texted me goodnight before he went to sleep. I didn’t really know anyone else, so I didn’t have anyone to talk to. So, I was baking. I had food network on, while I was mixing the dough. I really need to buy a kitchenaid mixer. This is tough. I left my mixer at home in New York at my mom’s house. When I go home on leave, that’s where I stay. Her and my new stepdad don’t mind.Mom got married a few months ago, while I was deployed with my last command, so I couldn’t make the wedding, but that’s ok. I didn’t really know him very well. All I know is, mom inherited two

I wasn’t tired at all. I finished baking and cleaning up all the stuff from baking and packaged up the cookies. I was keeping 2 dozen for myself and probably Katie, and maybe Tyler, and taking the other 2 dozen to work with me tomorrow. What better way to get your new command to like you, than to bake them goodies. I snagged one of the cookies that was left over, not part of the 4 dozen, I made, and already packaged up and ate it, while sitting down on the couch to watch “Chopped.”I looked at my phone to see what time it was, and it was only 10:30. I should probably try to sleep. I wasn’t tired. At all. Like, if I was to lay down, I would just be laying there, staring at the ceiling, or the tv in my room. So, I stayed in the living room. I turned off the lights, and curled up under the fuzzy throw blanket, I had on the back of my couch. I didn’t feel like getting back up to grab my phone charger from my room, but I knew if I didn’t plug it

Around 9am, the sailor who missed muster with no call, no warning, walked into my office. I looked up from the work order I was about to sign off on, and I glanced at him. “HT3 Whitehall, where have you been?” I asked and put my pen down. I gave him a hard look and he seemed uncomfortable under my gaze. “I-uh,” He cleared his throat and tried again. “I got into a fight last night at a bar and got arrested. They just released me. They didn’t even give me a phone call, so I couldn’t call anyone in the command.” With that, I looked at him over the rim of my glasses, and sat back in my desk chair, and just looked at him. “You need to go talk to Chief and LT, this is out of my hands. You get to explain what happened. It is up to them to punish you. I can deal with tardiness, but when it comes to my sailors getting in trouble and law gets involved, I have no power. Get out of my office.”He turned and left, his head hangin

By 1050, all our work teams had finished their work. I mean, all the tasks for today are done. There is nothing else that was scheduled for today. I was kind of impressed. I mean, they saw how pissed I got when HT3 wasn’t at muster, so I am sure they are scared to slack off on work. Knowing I am not one to cross. I let them know PT is canceled, but they need to take the time to prepare for the dress uniform inspection. No one had to return after lunch except for duty section. They only reason even duty section can leave base, if they live off base, was to go get their dress uniforms taken care of, but they had to be back in shop at 2. I dismissed them but I heard Chief call across the hall to us, we are doing a muster instead of just taking off.I sighed and logged out of my computer, and shut it down, and put whatever files I had out into the proper folders and stacked them on my desk. I got up, grabbed my phone off my desk, and shoved it into my pocket, along with my

I met up with Katie at her truck. I was on the tailgate as she came out to go on lunch. She had her backpack since she had duty yesterday. She had my other travel mug. “What do you want for lunch?” She asked. I shrugged. “I want Olive Garden” she said. “Ok, Olive Garden it is. It’s no Buca, but it works.” We both laughed. Our favorite Italian place isn’t here in Florida. We will have to settle for Olive Garden. I am not used to going to Olive Garden in uniform, but that’s ok. I wasn’t planning on drinking anyways. We headed off base, as I told her everything that happened today, from the sailor who missed muster, what he did to miss muster, and that because of my suggestion, we have a dress uniform inspection tomorrow. And also, that if one person fails, we will do it every week, until everyone passes. She let out a breath and said I was mean. I shrugged. “Not mean, I just want them to learn a lesson. We have t

His hands roamed down my body, as he kissed and sucked at the soft skin on my ear, my neck, my collarbone. I gasped as he slid his hands up my shirt, groping my breasts in his strong, but gentle hands. “Ty-“ I start to say his name, but she silences it by crashing his lips on mine. I moan into his mouth. I feel his lips curve up into a grin in the middle of the kissing. This time I get to say his name. “Tyler.” He pulls back only a few inches. His gaze is hooded but he looks deep into my eyes. He licked his lips, all the while his hands still massaged my breasts. He tightens his grasp on them, making me yelp, but not from pain. No definitely not from pain. That was pure pleasure. I’ve never felt that before. My eyes start to close, but I try to keep my mind on track. “Tyler!” I gasp out. Shaking my head slightly to focus. His hand still teasing my breasts. “We can’t do this right now. We have to prepare for the inspection

Just wanted to write a little note to you all. Thank you for reading my story. It is no where near being completed. I actually write as I go along. Everytime I sit down to write, I get more and more ideas and different directions on which way to turn my story. So, on some days, I want it to go one way, and the next it is a completely different way. However, once I submit and post a chapter, I have to go off what has been released, and therefore, I switch back and forth between my future chapters. I hope you guys like my story though! It is based off some real life people, and some real life events. But all names, are changed for privacy purposes. Not eveything has actually happened. But, I like that I can incorporate some real life into my little fantasy bubble. I would really appreciate some feedback, if you feel you want to give me some. But if not, no big deal. I am just happy I have some readers! Thanks again. Love you all. Sneidng love and hugs!!!

I got to working on this past week’s work orders that haven’t been finished, on my behalf. And I got them done before morning muster. Even though I am at home, I think it is easier for me to work from home, because I don’t have my junior sailors coming in and out of my office with complaints or just to talk. I was able to get everything I missed done, and even had organized the work orders into online files, and sent them back over to LT. I am sure, he would tell me to start sending them to YN2, or Chief. But he did pop up on a messenger app and said great work. He never really considered having someone work from home before, but he figured if anyone could do it, I can.I still will mostly work in office; I didn’t mind being in office. Honestly, I am chomping at the bit right now. I am going stir crazy. Plus, I wanted to know who our new female sailor is. I have the feeling it was the small blonde I was in the elevator with. I mean, if it is, I am scre

I thought that after dinner we would just go back to the apartments, but I was wrong. He took me to a pier, and we got ice cream and walked along the water’s edge. It was simple, but the sweetest gesture ever. I was never one for flashy and expensive things, so going to a boardwalk or a carnival or the pier was definitely in my ballpark. One, because it shows you aren’t showing off your money, and two, because it shows you like to have fun, with the simple things in life. Spending time together, versus, making a scene for everyone around you. Yeah, I prefer simple. We must have stayed out past 11, because by the time we got back to the apartments, most of the stores and stuff were closed. Geez, everything here closes early. I am from New York; things don’t close until like 4 am. But either way, we had a great time together. Just spending time and talking. I was feeling a bit better on the confidence scale. I still have to deal with the new sailor in the shop

I made the long, slow trek to the elevators from my spot in the car park and pressed the button to leave the darkness of the garage behind me. The doors opened and I stepped inside. There was this tiny little blonde woman. About the same height as me, but a smaller frame. She had to be naturally skinny, unlike me. I had to work hard for it. She had the perfect body, and the brightest blue eyes I had ever seen. I didn’t make it a point to ogle, but I had a bad feeling about her. At the exact moment, my phone buzzed, and it was Tyler.I answered the phone, “Hey, what’s up?” He went off on a tangent for a minute. He was complaining about the new sailor in our work center. How she was all over him and kept trying to flirt with him. I kind of laughed. It was unsettling but I knew if another woman was involved, I would have competition. He also said he couldn’t wait to see me when he got out of work, which would be soon. I told him about finally gettin

I woke up to a text from Tyler telling me good morning and he will see me when he gets off work today. He also asked if I wanted to go to dinner with him, as long as I was feeling better. I rolled my eyes; I was cranky when I first woke up most mornings. I am so not a morning person. But I replied ok. And told him I felt fine. And that I would see him later. It felt weird that I had the rest of this week off. I think I do like my new command. They are understanding especially since I suffer from chronic migraines, and now we know the source of it. I got out of bed and went and started the shower. I need to wash my hair. From not feeling well, I have been neglecting washing my hair. Makes sense because when I get migraines, all I want to do is sleep or throw up. I stripped out of my pajamas and stepped into the shower.I showered and washed my hair, and then I got out, all wrapped into a towel, I brushed my teeth. I went and got dressed, and since I didn’t have to

At some point I fell asleep on the couch with some random cooking show on, but I woke up to my phone vibrating so much that it fell off my coffee table. The crash of it hitting the floor, jolted me awake. My migraine was gone. Finally. I reached down and grabbed my phone. I had several missed calls from Katie. The most recent call was from Tyler. I decided I should probably talk to Katie first because I haven’t talked to her since the dinner with her and Tyler. I was kind of being a bitch.I sent her a text telling her about my migraine and going to the ER, and that I finally felt normal again. I didn’t apologize for my mood or behavior though. If she wanted to talk about it, I’ll let her bring it up. She replied almost instantly, and said “Thank goodness you are still alive, I was getting worried there.” At that, I laughed. She then proceeded to tell me that she ordered food to have delivered to me, because Tyler ran into her and told her I wasn

“You are either going to medical when they open at 8am, or I am taking you to the emergency room right now. Deal?” Tyler told me sternly. I could tell he really is worried about me. All I could do was nod, before another wave of nausea hit me. Tyler kept up with keeping the wash cloth cool and dabbed it on my forehead or on the back of my neck then entire time. I was grateful for the small action. Out of nowhere, my mind wondered to what would happen if and when I ever got pregnant. I have no clue why that’s where my mind went, but it did, and it scared me.I have no clue how long we were in the bathroom for, and honestly, I didn’t care. I was exhausted. I don’t know when, but Tyler texted LT and told him, he was taking me to the emergency room, I am sure LT knew Tyler lived next door to me, and LT also already knows I still don’t have a vehicle. So, Tyler made me get dressed so he can take me to the hospital. It was useless to go to medica

I tugged on his hair as he kissed my neck, but I didn’t want him to stop. I knew we had to though. I tugged harder and it made him stop kissing me. The look in his eyes was pure fire and lust. I had to look away because I could get lost in those eyes. “We can’t right now.” I whispered to him. I didn’t dare to look at him. I was looking down and away. He took one of his hands and cupped my face and made me look at him. “It’s ok. I will wait forever if I have to.” I did not expect him to say that. My eyes must have widened at his response because he grinned and kissed the tip of my nose.I pulled back and went to stand up, but he wrapped his arms around me tighter. “Want me to stay with you tonight, just in case you need me?” He whispered. I wasn’t sure I heard him right, so I tilted my head, like I was a confused puppy. “What?” I felt dumb. “Do you, want me, to stay, tonight.” He broke it

I don’t know how long I’ve slept but the next thing I know, my phone is buzzing off the hook. I left it on vibrate so I could eliminate noise because of the migraine. But since my phone was on my night stand, it was vibrating against the wood, causing noise. I groggily opened my eyes and reached for my phone. It was Tyler calling. I sighed and answered the phone. “What?” I didn’t mean to sound so mean or rude, but I hated being woken up, especially when I wasn’t feeling too good. “Hey, I picked up dinner for you, I am outside the apartment.” I rolled my eyes and pulled the phone from my ear and looked at the time. It was 7pm. Oh, man. I slept for way longer than I expected.I told him I would open the door in a minute, and I hung up the phone. I noticed once the call disconnected that I had a lot of missed calls and text messages. From both Katie and him. I sighed and heaved myself out of bed and stumbled in the dark to th

By the time the inspections were done and over, my head feeling as if it would explode. I ended up going to get my other uniform so I could change out my dress uniform and changing as fast as I could in the bathroom. But I ended up getting sick. Like really sick. That is what happens when I get a really bad migraine. Luckily for me, I didn’t ruin my dress whites. That would have been bad. At least I didn’t throw up while still in my dress uniform. I had already had my NSU slacks on, which are black, so I could kneel on the floor and not worry too much.I have no clue how long I had been in the bathroom, being sick, until someone knocked on the door. I had my head resting on my arm, which was on the toilet. I had my white undershirt on, but never got to put on my peanut butter top yet. I stood up and washed my face with cool water, to try to make myself feel a bit better, but it didn’t help. I opened the door. It was Chief. “Are you ok? You look like de
