Chapter 85: Is That... Lipstick?

Nate Larson was spotted in the airport in Nebraska! No one knows where he was headed, but none of the other guys were spotted with him. That makes us wonder why he left the guys behind and what has him running. We wondered if he was going after a special girl (or guy!), but that's not the Nate we know and love. Nate took in the site of his mom sitting hunched over in the small chair beside a bed where his dad lay. The man in the bed didn't look like his dad, though. His dad was strong and full of life. This man looked weak and frail.

"Nate, sweetie, what are you doing here?" she asked as she stood and rushed to him, throwing her arms around his shoulders.

"I needed to be here. How is he?"

"The same. I just want to clobber him for being so stupid." Looking behind him, she finally saw they weren't alone. "Nate?"
