An hour later, the three were at the airport where Serafino’s private jet was waiting for them. There was a tension between Serafino and Brian that you could cut with a knife. As they boarded the plane, they bumped into each other to get in first. Rebecca only stares at this shaking her head. They were like teenage boys wanting to get to the price first. Inside the plane, then it turned for the worst as Serafino sat down. He takes a photo out of his pocket of Hailey, where she was standing in front of a house smiling at the camera and just staring at it. Brian gets a look at it and then the fight begins. “Why did you take her to your house? You could have left her with Rebecca. You could have called me as soon as you knew she was gone. What’s wrong with you?” Brian was shouting at Serafino. “Ye well, what do you think? That I wanted to hurt her. She asked me to make her forget how YOU hurt her, and that was what I wanted to do, and would you have listened if I told you she had left.

I put one foot down on the road and waited for a second, making sure that no one had heard me.
