Elena’s POV

The forest had never felt so alive - or so hostile.

Elena stood at the edge of the pack’s training grounds, watching as warriors moved with grim efficiency. The clang of metal, the snapping of bows being tested, and the low growls of wolves shifting echoed around her. It was the sound of preparation, a symphony of controlled chaos.

Ren stood at the center of it all, his commanding presence like a beacon for the pack. His voice was steady, issuing orders to Kael and Mirella, his amber eyes scanning the warriors with a mixture of pride and urgency.

Elena’s fingers curled at her sides as she observed him. He looked every inch the Alpha - strong, resolute, and unyielding. But beneath his exterior, she could feel his tension. It thrummed through their bond like a taut string ready to snap.

He’s carrying too much, Kaia whispered in her mind.

He always does, Elena replied. But not alone until we are here.

She approached him as he finished speaking with Kael, her presence pulling

Elena’s Point of ViewThe pack house was unusually quiet that evening, the faint rustle of the forest outside the only sound breaking the stillness. After the emotional weight of the truce negotiations and the constant tension of the past weeks, the calm felt almost surreal.Elena sat on the edge of the balcony attached to their quarters, her legs swinging over the edge as she gazed at the stars. The cool breeze carried the scent of pine and earth, soothing her frayed nerves.Kaia stirred gently in her mind. It feels good, doesn’t it? Warriors moved with purpose, preparing for the day’s patrols and reinforcing the borders. Despite the renewed energy in the pack, Elena couldn’t shake the sense of urgency pressing down on her.Kaia stirred in her mind, steady and resolute. The forest has accepted us, but that won’t stop the threats circling at its edges. Behind them, Kael and Mirella flanked their path, their sharp eyes scanning the dense undergrowth for any sign of danger. The ancient texts and the Luna’s journal had painted a vivid picture of the Grove - a place where the forest’s magic was at its strongest, where the Moon Goddess’s presence could be felt in every whisper of the wind and rustle of the leaves.
