Consciousness slowly returned.

My eyes fluttered open, revealing an unfamiliar and impersonal ceiling.

Confusion washed over me as a dull, persistent ache throbbed in my head.

"You've finally woken up! I was so worried after you remained unconscious for hours. Are you in pain? Should we call the doctor?" Worry and eagerness mingled in his voice as his fingers gently probed my skin.

But his touch, which was once a source of comfort, now felt foreign and unwelcome.

Memories of our recent turbulent encounters came flooding back, fueling a surge of anger and revulsion within me.

I jerked my hand away from his grasp. "Don't you dare touch me, you monster! I despise you. Stay away from me!"
