She quickly busied herself with packing up the supplies to avoid his burning gaze.

When she finally looked up at him again, Karl's eyes were roving shamelessly over her body in a way that made her cheeks flush anew.

Lavinia cleared her throat loudly while she pulled out the file from her bag - the whole reason she had come over in the first place. "I'm ready to start the procedures now," she said firmly, holding out the folder towards him.

Karl sighed heavily and nodded, reaching out to take the file from her outstretched hand. Instead of opening it, he simply ripped it in half right in front of her, causing Lavinia's eyes to go wide with shock.
