Chapter 9 # Sins of the Past

For several days, Lara had to stay in the hospital. Her recovery process required tranquility, complete rest, and stabilization, both physically and mentally.

Seno, her husband, was always around her. Initially, Lara couldn’t understand why his behavior was so different, but eventually, she began to accept it.

'Maybe Seno truly regrets his actions,' Lara thought, though she was reluctant to ask him.

Unlike Seno, Andre was rarely seen. In truth, Lara didn’t understand why—unconsciously—she was looking for Andre’s presence.

But what was their relationship?

There was none.

Their relationship was purely doctor and patient. That’s it.

"Lara, do you need anything?" Seno suddenly asked. Lara glanced at him while observing her husband. His shirt was wrinkled, his jacket was off, and his face looked worn.
