New Year's Eve had finally arrived. The celebration of the year that had passed and the year that lay ahead.

Bradford had arranged a grandiose dance at his place to ring in the New Year. Bradford had arranged for Camilla to be picked up and driven to the Hemmingway residence. Caterers were everywhere. The main hall was where everyone congregated to mingle and dance and have a few drinks. The dining hall would be where everyone would sit to enjoy a meal.

Camilla had just finished getting ready when the driver arrived. Her hair was done up, and her curls hung loosely. Bradford helped her select the most elegant dress. Her dress was a Giffnisetti woman's ball gown in royal blue and beaded with rhinestones around the waistline and a sweetheart-style bodice. The shawl that accompanied it was a long, high-necked shawl in royal blue and rhinestone on the upper half and around the neckline. She looked dynamic.
