Ivanka thought for a moment and said, “If everything goes as planned, we should be back in a day or two.”

The next day was the casino’s banquet.

The banquet had already been postponed once, and it was unlikely to be delayed again.

As long as the event went smoothly and Alexander did not cause any trouble, she and Michael would be able to return home soon.

When Sandy heard that it would take another day or two, she rolled her eyes. “Seriously, another day or two? I’m so done with this Mirvania trip!”

She would have suspected that Michael was doing this deliberately if nothing had gone wrong and if Michael and Ivanka had not encountered any trouble.

Sandy was not the only one feeling exasperated. Ivanka said exasperatedly, “There’s not much I can do right now. I’ve got a lot going on. We’ll talk about it when I get back.”

She still remembered Ivan’s request for help.

“Okay. I’ve got some things to discuss with you too. It’s pretty late, so you should get some rest.”
