"Emily, leave your work! You have to go home now because in two days your wedding will take place. What are you thinking about? Why are you still working?" nagged Shila, annoyed at her best friend for not remembering her condition, especially her growing belly.

Emily's wedding was two days away, but she was still busy taking care of all the remaining work. Moreover, in two months, Emily would give birth. It was Emily's nonchalant attitude that annoyed Shila.

"Take it easy, Shila; Jeffry has organized everything. I need to relax, sleep, and get dressed by the best make-up artist who will make me shine at the wedding even though I'm pregnant."

Emily's relaxed demeanor and calm-sounding words should have put Shila at ease. Instead, her best friend was on edge.

"I'm anxious about you, Em. You know, I didn't want to tell you, but I saw someone hanging around our office. I'm afraid—"
