Daphne was on verge of igniting her car’s engine when her phone rang out again.

Picking it up,she saw that it was Griffin.

Taking a deep breath,she answered it.

“Hello.”

Hearing her sweet voice,Griffin shut his eyes for a moment.It was only then he realized how much he had missed her.

They hadn’t seen or spoken to each other for almost a week.

Anytime he gets home in the evening,she was already asleep and he often leaves before she wakes up.

“Where are you?”He asked,softly.

“I’m heading home.”She replied.

Griffin glanced at his watch and informed her.”I’ll be coming home for dinner today.Please make me something.”

A few seconds of silence passed before Daphne agreed.

After ending the call,she stared at the phone,sadly.She felt so many emotions at the same time and it made her feel drained.

She no longer felt the excitement to cook for him and to sleep with him anymore.

How can she sleep or cook for a man who loves another woman?

Still,she felt love for him.

A love that was one-sided.
