I didn’t answer, my mind racing with what I heard Claudia say. My father wed me to a man wanting to ruin both my and his life, he really wanted me to betray the man I married despite threatening me to kill mother if I did anything that would ruin the peace treaty between the Brook and the Ivanov family.
