After the words 'Start' in front of them disappeared, they were confronted with a labyrinth of some sort. A thin mist hovered before them. There was silence, there was nothing in the foggy labyrinth.
"I think we should start now, Claire," Leon said.
"I guess so," replied Claire.
They then walked towards the maze entrance. As soon as they made their first step inside the labyrinth, suddenly there was a ticking sound, like the sound of a clock. Claire and Leon looked at each other.
"Don't say we're racing against time!" exclaimed Claire.
"I have no idea. There is no game like this as I remember, everything has changed," Leon replied.
Leon then stretched his hand forward, took out his options screen. The screen opened, at the top there was a clear yellow number that flashed according to the sound of the clock ticking. '23: 59: 40 'and continuing to decline.
“Shit! They only give us twenty-four hours counting from our first steps," said Leon again.
"Come on, start walking!" exclaimed Claire, as she slightly tugged Leon's arm.
They don't have much time. In just twenty-four hours, they have to solve the maze.
"If there was that much time, they would have predicted that we would spend the night in this labyrinth," said Claire suddenly as they had already begun to enter the labyrinth. Around them there was nothing but green plants which formed a wall.
"It's cruel if they don't provide us with food and drink," Leon replied.
Claire paused for a moment, but she knew Leon was right. Without food and drink all day, they would not be able to survive.
“You said it yourself, right? That there is no game that has no way out. So calm down. It's impossible if there's no food or drink here," said Claire.
They walked following the curve of the maze until they finally came to an intersection. Either have to choose left or right.
"Left, or right?" asked Leon.
"Why ask me?"
"You are the goddess of wisdom. Who else should I ask other than asking you? "
"Geez! I don't know!" exclaimed Claire in frustration. Leon just watched silently while his arms crossed. Waiting for Claire to decide.
Claire exhaled in exasperation, but in the end, she followed her instincts by choosing left. She didn't know what she was thinking, but at least, the road on the left looked smaller. Claire had always believed the path to goodness always looked worse than the path leading to the wrong place.
They walked straight ahead and Claire began to feel something strange. This path seemed too straight for a maze. There are no bends or other intersections nearby. After taking a long step, Claire noticed the traces on the ground. It was like a creature's footprints and Claire recognized what it was.
"Oh no!" exclaimed Claire suddenly.
"What?" asked Leon.
“This maze is no ordinary maze! We should have realized that from the start!” exclaimed Claire.
"What do you mean?" asked Leon.
"Whichever path we choose, it won't keep us out of harm's way, Leon!" shouted Claire again, panicking even more so that she couldn't explain properly.
"Calm down, Claire! Speak slowly," said Leon while holding Claire's shoulders.
“Leon… this is the labyrinth of the island of Crete. Do you know what we're dealing with here? "
“Cretan Island Maze? Jeez ... M-minotaur? The bull-headed man who eats human flesh?" Leon asked in a voice almost lost at the end. Claire was just about to reply, when they heard approaching footsteps. The snort of a bull sounded so heavy and so close. Leon put his index finger to his lips, telling Claire to be silent and not make a single sound.
He pulled Claire back because Minotaur's footsteps could be heard from the front. Leon and Claire walked as fast as they could but with as little sound as possible. They made their way to the last corner of the maze they saw. However, it seemed pointless, from the front there was a very heavy laughter. Half grunting, half moaning, the voice laughed at them.
"Apparently it's time to eat!" he exclaimed. The minotaur already knew about Claire and Leon's arrival. Claire shuddered, even the gods had died at the hands of the Minotaur of Crete. She doesn't know if Athena and Apollo can survive against this ferocious flesh-eating creature. Now Claire and Leon ran as fast as possible, looking for a bend to hide. Minotaur's footsteps grew faster and faster.
“No need to run! You can't get out of here!” exclaimed the minotaur.
Claire and Leon discover a bend that looks hidden. They crouched down with beating hearts.
"Who can beat Minotaur in the legend of Greek mythology?" Leon asked Claire.
"Theseus ..." whispered Claire.
“Shit! I should have chosen Theseus!" exclaimed Leon in a whispered voice.
"Can you replace it now?" asked Claire.
"I don't know," Leon replied honestly.
They stopped whispering as the heavy grunts and footsteps began to approach. The Minotaur is very close. Claire shakily covered her own mouth.
"I could smell fresh flesh and blood ..." said the Minotaur again.
Leon suddenly took Claire’s hand and pulled her to stand. He then pulled her in another direction. It made the grass below them rustle. The Minotaur turned to the source of the sound with a snort. It knows its prey is there.
“Come out little sheeps! I promise I will eat you up quickly, so it won't hurt,” said the Minotaur with a chuckle.
Luckily Leon brought Claire quickly to another corner of the maze that was farther away, because the Minotaur was now walking to where they were hiding earlier. The minotaur was sniffing, remembering the scent of the body that had now entered his sense of smell.
“Goddess Athena… what an honour! And Apollo! This is really an honour to eat your flesh! The goddess and the god that every body looked up to. Unlike me, the hideous monster that even my own father wants to kill!” he exclaimed in a thunderous voice.
Claire trembled even more at that. Only by their scent could that Minotaur recognize. Claire racked her brain, she sought knowledge from Athena's brain, how to defeat that cruel monster.
"Aphrodite can fly,” whispered Claire into Leon's ear."So?" Leon asked, confused.Claire quickly took out the digital screen from her hand, making a sound that caught
Claire couldn't stop. Either she really wanted Leon, or Aphrodite's character made her this way. But it was clear that her passion is unstoppable. She knew she would regret this afterward, but right now she really didn't care. Although her brain told her to stop, Claire listened more to the tone of her body that wanted Leon."C-Claire ... Minotaur hmmm ... Claire ... hmmm ..." Leon tried to speak but Claire continued to crush his lips with passion.
"Aaaaahhh!" Claire's screams were frivolous when they almost reached the ground. Whether it will hurt or not, but clearly they will lose their lives. Claire closed her eyes, preparing to take the blow but after waiting a few seconds, nothing happened. When Claire opened her eyes, right before them was green grass only about five centimeters away.
"You are very beautiful and I love you," replied the Minotaur with eyes shining golden."Right. I love you, too. Therefore, let me and my friend go to a place that is forged by fire. Maybe you know where it is?" asked Claire again, smiling awkwardly. She put a hand on her waist, trying to look sexy.
"So, how long have you actually been trapped in here?" asked Claire as she chewed on her grilled chicken."Time in here is not the same as out there. I really do not know. Maybe a few weeks, or a few months," said Leon.
Suddenly the tremors on the ground stopped. Claire and Leon stared at each other, because nothing was happening around them."Nothing happened?" asked Claire.
"Shit!" exclaimed Leon. He reached into his pocket frantically and pulled out Ariadne's red thread. Without thinking he dropped it to the ground, hoping something would happen, but nothing happened."Should we tie it to something?" asked Claire.
"Claire!" exclaimed Leon when he realized what was going on.But it was too late, Claire flickered to disappear. A second later he fell from the sky right in front of Ariadne. Once again, Ariadne will stab Claire. But this time, Leon managed to parry Ariadne's hand and make the knife fall and stick to the wooden floor of the sh
"Let me go! I am your presidential candidate! Let go of me right now!” Boston Hopkins shouted to the cops in his handcuffs. "You have the right to be silent. Everything you can explain in court. You can also hire a lawyer to defend you,” replied the policeman. "Bodyguard! Guards!" shouted Boston Hopkins frantically. But not a single bodyguard approached. Because Leon had told them to go as far as possible. Boston Hopkins was forced to surrender to the police. He got into the police car and was taken away. Along the way, people pelted him with rotten eggs. The police had to get the public in order not to pelt Boston with eggs and other objects. Boston couldn't believe this had
Fox lay back on the sofa stretching out her sore leg. Claire helped Fox by propping her legs up with a pillow so that the swelling wouldn't get worse."I can help Leon," she said.“You won't be able to help if you are not well. Rest first, you need it," replied Claire.Claire went to the kitchen and he heated water to make warm tea for Leon. There was still tea that had not gone bad in the apartment. She brought it to Leon. The man hadn't even rested since earlier. His body was still drenched."Thank you," Leon said with a smile. The smile that always made Claire's heart beat twice as fast.“Can't you rest first? At least change clothes," said Claire."After this. This
After breaking through the traffic jam, Claire finally parked her car in Leon's old apartment. Now they felt like they were safe enough here. Slowly, Claire and Leon supported Fox's body and led her into Leon's private elevator. They then headed straight to Leon's apartment unit."Wow," said Fox when they got there.“Messy? Of course, the last time we left him was when the Boston boys arrived. Even the glass hasn't been replaced, ”said Leon, pointing at the glass shattered by the bullets."Meanwhile, we're safe here," said Claire as she laid Fox on the sofa."Ouch," said Fox as his feet accidentally stomped the floor.“It will become swollen. I'll try to treat you as best I can. We'll see a doctor after all
Claire ran towards the window that was starting to burn, while Fox crawled after Claire. She couldn't just lay there, even though now she really couldn't do anything."Leon!" exclaimed Fox in her hoarse voice. The pain in her head was too much, a little more, she didn't want to pass out now. She had to help Claire and Leon! Fox tried to stay conscious longer, but it was useless. In an instant everything went dark and her ears started ringing. Fox fell and couldn't hear or see anything else."Leon!!" exclaimed Claire. He almost went inside when suddenly Leon's hand reached for the window. She was so shocked, Claire almost fell."Leon!" she exclaimed again when she realized that Leon was alive and well.Claire then helped pull
"Hey bro, have you seen the news on television?" asked one of the bodyguards who was on guard at the base where Fox was serving his sentence."Yes. I think we should leave before the police catch us too,” replied the other bodyguard.“Shhh !! Lower your voice. If others hear we can be killed,” he replied."Hey ... let me go, please ..." Fox said begging the two people who were whispering. The two people exchanged glances then looked at Fox.“Sorry, kid. If we let you go, we will surely die. Now keep your voice down or we'll get into trouble!” exclaimed the man in a hushed voice.“He won't come here. The situation was too chaotic, he would not be
It didn't take long, Claire and Leon had arrived at Leon's old apartment. They ran towards the elevator after parking the car in Leon's private garage. The private elevator immediately took them to Leon's apartment, which was left in a mess. Bullet marks are still on the walls, broken window glass, even the sofa cushions with holes in them.Leon didn't wait long, he immediately ran to his old study and took out Claire's laptop and all the equipment he was carrying in his bag. Claire immediately turned on the TV to hear what news was on television. As soon as it was turned on, the news on the television immediately broadcast what Claire and Leon had expected.“A number of state officials suddenly came to the police station today. There has been no official confirmation from the police but information circulating says that this has something to do with the
The flames that were coming out of the Chimera's mouth were now being shot towards Claire and Leon. Claire's tears melted down her cheeks. Slowly and gently, she touched her lips to Leon's. Maybe this is their last kiss. There weren't enough words for Claire to express her feelings for Leon, she chose to express it through this last kiss. But just before the fire burned their bodies, suddenly Claire and Leon felt themselves being sucked into a different dimension. When they opened their eyes, they returned to where they were. It's in Claire's apartment, in front of their laptop."Are we dead now?" asked Claire."I don't think so," said Leon."Is this an illusion?" asked Claire again.Suddenly a notification entered Fox's cell
"You will catch up with them as soon as possible. Don't worry," Boston said, looking where Fox was looking.Fox still didn't answer. She kept her eyes on Boston expressionless. Her face flushed, matching the color of her hair. Every time she saw Boston's face, she remembered how Mrs. Andrew died. Her head was bleeding, even now it still leaves stains on Fox's clothes. Inside, Fox vowed that she would take revenge. Boston must die at her hands.“It's up to you if you want to stay silent like that. But now you have to send hypnosis to everyone in America. I've given you access to the satellite," said Boston Hopkins again.Fox just kept quiet, staring at Boston without saying anything. Boston was getting embarrassed by Fox's attitude, he gave the code to the man who put a gun on Fox's head. The man began to pull
“Let's do it now. The sooner the better. We don't want to lose this moment,” said Leon again. He was already sitting in front of his laptop preparing to go back into The Myth. His eyes stared at Claire waiting for the girl to sit next to him and immediately started the mission this time.Claire took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. He then stepped his feet and sat next to Leon. His heart was pounding, his feeling telling that something was wrong. However, he had to do this. As Leon said, this might be their chance to destroy Boston Hopkins for good."Are you ready?" asked Leon."Yes," replied Claire briefly. He looked at Leon's face and then a moment later, without realizing it, they had entered The Myth. Their surroundings changed, as if they were
