Chapter 2

"Kevs, you can come with us" Kristel invites Kevin to join us.

"It's okay Tel. The two of you will have fun. I'm going to pick Cassy later" Kevin said and kisses me in my cheek which is normal to me.

"Please take care of Cassy, Tel" I blushed because I find it sweet in his part. He's like that ever since and I thanked God because he gave me a man that is kind and helpful like him. He supported me in many ways and helps me with my problems.

"No worry Kevs. I'll take good care of Cassy"

Kevin nods at her and look at me "call me Cass if you need anything. Okay?"

"Noted Kevs. Thank you" He smiled and pats my head like he usually does before he leaves.

"How sweet," Kristel said.

"Don't jump to conclusions Tel. Kevin is just kind and sweet. We're just friends and that's all" I said.

"Okay, if you say so. Shall we?"

"Let's go"

When we arrived at her condo, I get my phone to check if Liro send me a message but there's none so I put my phone inside the bag again.

"I want to offer you a drink but since you're preggy so no beer for you lady. The juice will do and wait here for a moment because I'm going to make a pizza"

"Tel, I want nuggets too. Please cook it for me" I said with a puppy look.

"Alright! Just stop that dog's face of yours. It's disgusting" she said and laugh and I just pouted because of that.

Since I'm here alone in the living room and Kristel is on the kitchen making foods, so I decided to watch movies while waiting my nuggets to get cooked.

I decided to watch wolfblood because I find it cool you know. I love Maddie in this series because she's pretty. I like her eyes, nose and even her hair. It's beautiful.

I enjoyed watching the series when my phone rings so I get it inside my bag. It's Kevin who's calling.

"Hey" he said when I answered the call.

"Hello, Kevs. Why did you call?" I asked

"Want to check you. Are you okay there? Do you want anything? Did you have fun? How's little Cassy?" I laugh a bit because he asked non-stop

"Easy Kevs. The baby is fine. Kristel is in the kitchen cooking some food. I asked her to cook nuggets for me. I crave nuggets" I said.

"Alright. Do you want to eat anything aside from nuggets? I'll buy it for you later. What do you want?" 

What he said lifted my mood. It's good news for me.

"I want strawberries Kevs. Little Cassy and I want to eat strawberries. Will you buy us that?" 

"Of course. When I pick you later, I'll give you the strawberries you want"

"Yahoo! Thank you, Kevin. You're the best" he laughs because of what I said. And I see his dimples. He's so handsome and I admit that.

"You're welcome Cass" he sincerely said.

"By the way, are you on the business trip?" I asked because I've noticed in his background that he's kinda in some fancy place.

"Yeah. I'm going to meet- Oh! sorry, Cass. I need to end the call. I think they are here already" before he end the call, I don't know if I'm correct but I think I saw Liro in his background or maybe not?

When Kristel finished cooking the pizza and my nuggets we eat together and talk about some stuff. Girly stuff is what I mean. Aside from Kevin, she's my female best friend that I trust the most of course. There are no secrets that I can hide from this girl.

"So how are you and Lianne?"

"I don't know Tel. We haven't talked since then when she found out about my pregnancy. My parents hid her away from me and Liro"

"Are you mad at your parents Cass?" 

"No Tel. I'm just sad because they are unfair on my part. They accused me that I seduced Liro even if I'm not. If I can go back to the time, then maybe I did not go home that night at my drunk state"

"But Cass it's not you who mistakenly enter the wrong room. It's Liro so I can't understand why you are the only one that took the blame? If we look at the whole picture, it's Liro that taking advantage of you"

"I don't know Tel. That time Liro was drunk too because my father invited him that day to drink in our house and everyone knows that Liro is deeply in love with my sister so they think that I'm the one who seduced Liro and taking advantage of him"

Kristel sighs and look at me with sympathy. "Just tell me if you can't handle the pain anymore Cass. Let's go abroad and we'll raise little Cassy there. I'll help you because we're sisters in heart"

What she said burst me into tears. "Thank you, Tel"

"Don't cry, Cass. You are so ugly when you're crying" and she hugged me tightly.

"You know what, let's just sing"

"Okay let's do that"

Kevin picked me up when I texted him that I want to go home. It's 6 in the evening so I need to be at home before Liro comes home. I'll cook food for him.

"Hello, little Cassy" I laugh a little when he touch my tummy.

"Where are our strawberries?"

He handed me one basket of strawberries and I can't wait to eat them at home.

When we arrived, the house is dark. I invited Kevin to come inside but he refused because aunt Marcel, his mother told him that they will eat dinner together.

When I open the lights, I was so shocked when I see the 3 baskets of strawberries on the table.

I put the basket of strawberries that Kevin gave me on the table and I look Liro inside the house. I thought he's in the minibar again but I was too surprised to see him in the kitchen cooking nuggets and pasta. When I see the nuggets, I instantly feel hungry.

"Sorry, I was late," I said.

"It's okay. I cook your dinner" he said in his serious tone.

"Thank you. Did you buy those strawberries?" I asked.

"Yes"

Was it for Lianne? How lucky.

"Okay. I'll wash my strawberries first before I eat."

"Your strawberries?" He asked.

"Yeah. My friend bought us some. I crave strawberries. Little Cassy maybe wanted to eat strawberries" I said with a smile on my face.

"Does Lianne want to eat those too?" I innocently asked.

"No. I mean yes."

Ouch! I smiled bitterly and turn my back to him to get my strawberries. After I clean those, I went upstairs to change my clothes. 

I didn't go down yet. I just sit on the edge of the bed and I comb my hair as I talk to my little angel.

"We eat nuggets a lot princess. You like nuggets, don't you?" I laugh when I felt a small movement of my tummy. I don't know if mommies can feel the movement of the baby in their 5 months old or I just assume that she move a bit?

"Daddy cooked us nuggets. Are you happy?" I can't wait for her to be born in this world. I have many plans that I wanted to do with my baby in the future.

When I was about to leave, Kevin is calling so I answer it.

"Darling, you should come with Kevin to our ancestral house. I was waiting for you" it's aunt Marcel.

"Aunt Marcel I’m so sorry. How about next time? I need to go home to take vitamins for the baby" I said.

"Oh! I can't wait to see my grandchild soon" she exclaimed.

"Yes Aunt Marcel me too. I miss you"

"I miss you too darling. How are you by the way? Is the father of the child taking care of you?" she asked.

"He provided our needs aunt Marcel" I answered.

"Did he treat you better?"

I didn't answer and Aunt Marcel noticed that.

"You know what darling; just tell us if you wanted to run away. We're here! I'm sure my son would love to take the responsibility for you and the baby. He will marry you"

"Aunt, Kevin, and I are good friends. Kevin deserves better" I said.

"Darling you are perfect. Anyways, I'll give this call to my son now. Bye Cass"

"Bye Aunt Marcel"

"Kevin-

I am too overjoyed when I see Kevin on the other side of the call then suddenly Liro grabs my phone and throws it at the wall. It crashed!

"LIRO!"

"You are not going to see that b*stard again" he angrily said.

"What? Why? He's my friend! Are you out of your mind?"

"Yes because you are in my house and you are my responsibility"

I'm crying because he shouted at my face and for telling me to stay away from Kevin, my best friend.

"I can't do that Liro. Kevin is a good man. He's the one who fulfills the duties that supposed to be yours"

"What? Are you saying that you won't follow me?"

"Yes. Because you are unreasonable"

I stood up and was ready to leave when he hold my arm to stop me.

"You're not leaving" after that, he smashed his head to mine and claims my lips like it is his possession.

I tried to push him but he's strong. His kisses were not passionate. It's more likely he's punishing me for the sin that I haven't done.

"The baby is mine. You are mine, Cassandra! I'll do everything to destroy you like you destroy my relationship with Lianne"
