It was past six in the morning when my phone on the bedside table rang. I groaned on that loud ringing, whoever was calling me now surely had a death wish. I picked up the phone and stared at the caller ID. My still sleepy orbs blurred the fonts that were written there, so instead of looking at the caller, I put my phone near my ear.

"What!" my voice came out loud, forgetting that my kitten was beside me sleeping like an angel. I glanced over my shoulder to see if I woke her up. Thank goodness, she didn't even move a bit. A smile crept my lips upon seeing the long slender flawless leg wrapping around my waist and the hand that was on my chest. I felt like she secured her property with this position claiming I was hers.

"Boss, it's me Luke!" my mind stopped thinking about her for awhile and focused on the call. "My apologies, but it's urgent!" Luke would never call me if it wasn't urgent or something important. I was always the one calling him.
