Shama looked around and found herself at the same damp hut. She was in the arms of her grandfather. Shama looked at her hands they were tiny.
“I became a baby again? Is this any of my memory or past? But wasn’t I born in a normal family. Why am I here…This place looks like a fantasy world. Wait…this…Isn’t this my Kingdome? I never belonged here…What the hell is this dream?”
Shama was thinking all this when the door opened and a woman came running inside. Her eyes were carrying worry and fear.
“Where is Yamini?”
She asked as she saw the two babies lying there alone.
“She…She went for the war.”
Shama’s grandfather answered as his eyes were stopping the tears.
“What? How can you allow her to go to that war? You know how dangerous it is….He will never let her and her so called husband live. He will kill both of them.”
She shouted angrily as tears formed in her eyes.
“This is a world full of hatred. Yamini won’t stop
Haha...You all getting some hints? Or ya'll are confused? Anyways everything will be cleared soon. Just wait...Hehe.
Ansh was sitting beside Shama. He was wearing the face mask to hide his identity from the servants and butler. He stared at Shama who was having a deep and depressed look on her face even while sleeping. Ansh laid his head on the bed and was lying on the floor next to Shama. The doctor came inside the room. Shama looked at the doctor and moved away from Shama. “Can I know why she has frequent blackouts? Why is there a treatment going on her?” Ansh asked with an anxious look on his face. “She is suffering from DID” The doctor said. “DID?” Ansh asked in confusion. “Yeah, Dissociative identity disorder. It is a disease in which a person has two or more than two personalities. These personalities can control the person’s behaviour.” He said as he took out an injection from his bag. “After all the things she went through, she has developed multiple personalities inside her in order to protect her
Shama woke up holding her head as it was aching badly. Shama remembered her dream. Millions of questions were coming up in her head. “Shanaya is my sister? I belong to this comic? Wait…How can I belong to a comic? Was it a dream or my past? Ugh…If it was just a dream then why was it all feeling so real? Is it just a dream?” Shama thought as her head ached more badly. She opened her eyes and looked around. She was lying on her bed. She saw unknown sleeping next to her. “What is he doing here? How did I come here? What was I doing before this?” Shama thought as she looked outside the window. It was dawn. The sun was setting down leaving orange and purple shades in the sky. The moon was visible now. “I don’t have any memory of the whole day?” Shama thought as she tried harder to remember. “Why have I started forgetting things?” Shama thought as she tightly grabbed her head. She forced herself too much to remember the thing
Shama opened her eyes as she heard some muttering sounds around her. She looked around and saw Rehan, Naina and Yug sitting there. “Hey, you woke up?” Yug asked as he gave her a glass of water. “When did you come back?” Shama asked taking the glass and gulping the water. “Around 3:00 A.M.” He said smiling at Shama. “I successfully carried out the mission my queen.” Rehan said with a gentle smile on his face. “Oh, what was the reason?” Shama asked as her face turned serious. Shama always wanted to know the reason that why Ansh betrayed her. So, she sent Rehan and Naina to know the truth. Now, they were back so her heart was beating fast in nervousness. She was afraid that the reason can come out to be something she never expected. She was afraid to hear that he doesn’t love her at all. She was afraid to hear that all the cute, cheerful and kind nature of Ansh was a disguise. She was afraid to hear that th
Shama was walking in the garden to get some fresh air. The sweet scent of rose filled the environment. Little butterflies were fluttering over the flowers. The gentle rays of sun were slowly melting the snow. Cool breeze was making Shama’s mind peaceful. She was humming a beautiful tune as she caressed the beautiful flowers. Shama’s eyes were filled with care. A little smile was on her face. After that day, Shama had started to smile a bit. Her heart felt lighter than before. She didn’t remember why…But she always felt like the suffocation she felt before was gone. She felt like all the words she wanted to speak out loud were already spoken. The weight of the tears and words that she was always locking in her heart was gone. She told everything to Ansh and cried but she didn’t remember it…So she was always in confusion. She started feeling good and enjoying the little things around her. “Good morning”&
Ansh turned around to pick his mask up when he noticed Shama standing inside his room. The mask dropped from his hands as he saw Shama staring at him with an angry expression on her face. “So, how did it feel? All this time when I needed you…When I wanted you to show up from somewhere…You hid your identity from me. Couldn’t you see how desperate I was to see you? How did it feel to watch me cry for you all day and night? Didn’t you feel even a bit of sympathy towards me? If you don’t love me than even out sympathy you could have showed up in front of me…” Shama said as her eyes were filled with tears but she angrily looked at him. “I…I was afraid that I won’t be able to stay around you for even a minute…I was afraid that you hate me...” Ansh said in a low voice.&
Shama stood in front of the mirror as she stared at her face. She smiled happily looking at the mirror. Her smile was wide and beautiful just like it used to be. “I …can smile” Shama said as she touched the mirror. She was so happy today. Just then the door opened and Naina entered the room. Shama turned around and hugged Naina happily. “What happened?” Naina asked as she was shocked with Shama’s sudden change. “I can smile again…And you know Ansh…” Shama stopped talking as she looked away from Naina. Naina narrowed her eyes with suspicion. “Ansh? What about him? Is he here? Where the hell is that ba****rd. Let me see him…He deserves a good lesson.” Naina said angrily. “Uh,No…Ansh isn’t here. I…I was…” Shama was thinking of some excuses to make as she knew everyone must be angry with Ansh. “I am here” A voice called out. Both of them looked in the direction of voice. Shama was shocked to
Shama angrily went towards the veranda. She leant against the pillar and stared at the water fountain in front of her. Just then Shama heard Ansh chuckling at him. Shama turned around at glared at him. Ansh was still mocking her. Shama was now feeling pissed off. The anger in Shama’s eyes disappeared. A smirk fell across her face as she looked at Ansh with an intense look in her eyes. Ansh paused as he saw the sudden change in Shama’s expressions. Shama walked closer towards Ansh. She had a weird look in her eyes which made Ansh step back. Ansh stopped as there was wall at his back now. Shama slammed her hand at one side of Ansh. Ansh looked at her in a shock. “What is she doing? She is gone insane or what?” Ansh thought as he stood there frozen with fear of making Shama angrier. Shama leaned close to Ansh with a smirk on her face. “You think I am afraid? I am afraid of nothing in this world. So, don’t mock me like that…It hurts…”
Shama woke up and saw it was 9:00 p.m. Shama quickly walked out of her bed and went towards the window. “It’s really night?” Shama shouted in a shock. “What the hell…I…I was in the veranda in the evening. After that I am here. How? Why do I forget it? What kind of disease is this?” Shama said as she tried hard to remember but she couldn’t remember anything. Instead a sharp pain spread out in her head. Shama grabbed her head and went back towards the bed. Her vision started blurring again. “Again…Whenever I try to remember anything…I have a headache.” Shama murmured. She poured water in the glass and drank the water. Her vision became normal. Ansh came inside the room and saw Shama. “What happened?” Ansh asked as he rushed towards her. “Nothing…Just head ache. What did I do after evening and how did I come in my room? I forget many hours of my life. I don’t know why…” Shama asked as she rubbed her
"Huff! Huff! Huff! Huff!"A panting voice echoed in the dark forest.“Tap, Tap, Tap”The shoes made noise in the silent night as Shama ran, her breath coming in ragged gasps.Fear filled her eyes. Blood trickled down her head, and her clothes were soaked in crimson color. Her body trembled, and her energy was waning. Still, she ran. She couldn't stop...Not now."I have to get out of here," she gasped. "I...I didn't do that."She glanced back over her shoulder, expecting to see someone chasing her. But as soon as she did, she tripped over a rock and collapsed to the ground, unconscious.*Earlier that day... *"Ahhhh... It's so cute. "Shama squealed in delight as she lay on her cozy bed, reading a comic book. As a kid, she had an immense love for fiction and soon to be 18, the girl still hadn't left her childhood hobby. "Why don't these stories exist in real life? God, please, please just once, I wanna experience the fictional world"She squeezed her eyes shut, palms together in a pra
Shama sat inside the car. She looked at the busy road and crowded footpath of the city. She missed these things very much. Modern world is the most beautiful place. Just then Shama remembered her Kingdome. She felt that she missed them more. She wanted to go back there and be with all of them. “Ansh…” Shama whispered as she closed her eyes and Ansh’s smiling face came to her mind. “You told me that when I will call you, you will come here to me…You said that wherever I am…You will find me and stay by my side forever…Then why you aren’t here. Ansh I miss you…” Shama thought as she clenched her fist. She reached the studio. She stepped out of the car as body guards protected her. In front of her stood a big building. She walked inside the beautiful building. “You are here…Come on you have to get ready for the shoot. Hurry up.” A guy told her as he hurriedly pushed her inside the makeup room. *Real Shama’s scenario*Shama woke up feeling cold. She opened her eyes and saw herself lying on a cold floor. She sat up and looked around. It was a big hall. Lights were shining brightly on the ceiling. AC was at 26 °C which was keeping the room cold. In front of Shama was a big mirror attached to the whole wall.Shama looked at herself in the mirror with unbelievable eyes. She was in her real body. Her hair curly and long hair was open. A big round earing was in her ear. A little beautiful pendent was in her neck. She wore an oversized top with pants. She wore snickers in her feet. Her body was sweating even in AC. It was like she just worked out or danced…Shama’s face had light makeup making her look pretty. She looked like a celebrity and her room was like a dance practice room.“But the question is that…I am a poor orphan…Then what the hell am I doing here like this?”Shama thought as she stood up. Ju
Ansh rushed to the imperial doctor. He laid Shama down.“Doctor…Doctor please save her…”Ansh said in a shaky voice. His voice was barely coming out. Just then Shama took a deep breath and her pulse came back. A dim red light glowed in her body.“Shama…You…Are…Alright?”Ansh said happily as he wiped his tears and took Shama’s hands in her hand. Her hands were cold. He rubbed her hands.“Please…You will be alright…Right?”Ansh said as tears dropped down on Shama’s hands. The doctor checked up on Shama.“I did everything that I can…But couldn’t find the cause of this. It was unusual as if the soul in her body left then came back…Something like this? But isn’t this illogical?”The doctor said laughing at his own words. But Ansh seemed lost somewhere else.“I don’t belong t
“I have one more thing for you.”Ansh said as he stood up and gave a hand to Shama.“What is it?”Shama asked.“Why do you always ask? Don’t you trust me? Then come with me.”Ansh said. Shama sighed and was about to walk when Ansh held Shama close by her waist. Shama looked at Ansh in a surprise.“Step on my feet.”Ansh said as he grabbed Shama closer and tighter.“What the-”“Shhh…Just do what I am saying you to do.”Ansh cut Shama in between. Shama looked at him and then stepped on his feet. Ansh jumped off the cliff. Shama shouted in terror. But then everything went smooth. Ansh held Shama tightly and was slowly going down the mountain. Shama peeked out and looked down. It was really deep valley. Shama looked at Ansh in a shock. Ansh smiled at Shama. Shama hugged Ansh tightly as she feared to fall.“It’s ok&h
Shama was resting in her bedroom. Though it was a wonderful day, she wasn’t feeling good at all. She was feeling like something bad is gonna happen. Her heart was beating rapidly and for no reason tears were falling out of her eyes.“Why…I can’t understand what’s wrong…Why am I feeling like all this won’t last long?”Shama thought as she covered herself with blanket. She hugged the pillow tightly to comfort herself.Five year old Shama was running around on the soft glass with bare feet. She happily laughed as the cool wind hit her face gently. A little girl who was about the same age as her was running after her.“Hey, catch me if you can.”Shama shouted at the girl in a teasing voice and ran away from there. The girl also chased after Shama.“Wait and watch…I will catch you for sure.”She shouted from behind. Just then Shama heard a weeping voice. She t
Shama opened her yes. Ansh’s sleeping face greeted her. Shama stared at him. He was looking surprisingly handsome today. Shama quietly tiptoed out of the bed and left the room. She reached a room. It was filled with paintings. Shama opened the curtains to let the sunlight come in. The beautiful sunrays lighted up the whole room. The colourful paintings in the room shined in the sunlight. Shama removed the cloth from the canvas kept in the middle of the room. Shama sat on the seat. She smiled as she opened the colour box. She took the paint brush in her hand and dipped it in the paint. She started painting something on the canvas. Ansh woke up. He touched the bed but didn’t found anyone. He quickly opened his eyes and saw that Shama was no where to be seen. He worriedly looked around for Shama but he wasn’t seen in the whole castle. Ansh was frustrated now. He again went around the whole palace. Just then his eyes fell on a room in the corner. It looked like it was st
Ansh saw Shama. Her eyes were changing expressions. Ansh looked at her in a shock. As this was the first time he was watching something like this. Her eye expressions were changing per second. Just then Shama went quiet. Ansh looked at her.“Shama?”He called out but there was no response from her. Ansh went close to her and touched her shoulders. Just then Shama grabbed his hand tightly and shrugged his hand off her shoulder. She gave Ansh a glare. Ansh was shocked to see Shama reacting like this. Her eyes were emotionless as she went out of the bed towards the window. She quietly stared at the night sky.Ansh quietly stared at Shama. Shama closed her eyes and hummed the same tune again. Her heart was filled with sadness.“Shama…It’s me…Ansh…Can’t you recognise me?”Ansh asked. But Shama just stared at him and again started looking at the sky.“Shama-”“Ansh&h
