Chapter thirty seven

The next day, Sasha was in her office thinking about Michael's attitude the previous night in his parents' home. How his gaze never left her and she found herself wondering again if it could be that he was falling in love with her? Her heart shuddered yet again at the thought. How happy will she be if that was to be possible? A sweet smile curved on her lips and she couldn't help but imagine herself in his arms, how sweet will that be if it becomes a possibility?

The sound of a knock on her door brought her back to present "come in" she cleared her throat.

The door opened and Janet peeked in before smiling at her and getting into the office, shutting the door after her "hey baby. How are you?"

Sasha relaxed back in her chair and smiled tiredly "I'm okay, I guess."

"So, how is life back in the devil's home?"
