Book 4: sixteen

Sharon opened the door and smiled at the man standing there, “Good morning, do come in,” she shifted to the side for him to enter. She closed the door after him and walked ahead, pointing at the couch, “please make yourself comfortable.” She walked to the coffee machine, “coffee?” she asked with a raised eyebrow.

Michael shook his head and sat down on the couch, wondering if that was where Sasha often sits when she come. He glanced around the office; there was nothing much in it: A desk, two chairs, the couch and a lot of artworks on the wall, the coffee machine and a lot of files. He glanced at the woman who was now looking at him.

She smiled and walked to her desk, searched for a file and then pulled a chair to sit in front of him. She placed the file on her lap, looked up to him with a smile again, “to be honest Mr. Brown, after meeting you yesterday morning, I didn’t know you would call me so soon.”

“You have an information I want, so what do you expect?” he asked nonchalantly.
