Chapter 4

Isabella started to blush at the close proximity between them and nodded her head yes. Nicholas  found her blushing adorable and pressed her close to him. His hands were now on her waist and hers were on his chest. At this sudden movement Bella let out a squeal and steadied herself by placing her hands on his chest.

Bella started to squirm on his hold and asked him if she could get her bag from her car. Nicholas hummed and let her go to the car. When she came back with her bag he grabbed it from her and put it on the backseat of his car and opened the passenger side of the car for Bella. 

Both of them got in and put the seat belt on and started towards the cabin in the woods. During their ride there was a comfortable silence between them along with the slow humming from the radio. Bella took this time to look at Nicholas. 

He had a Teal green blazer and pants with a white shirt underneath and loafers to match his outfit. He was a tall man with a height of 6'5 ft, and had a muscular figure. His muscles were bulging when he had his hands on the steering wheel. She noticed a light stubble and his sharp jaws. The one thing that made him unique was his eyes. His eyes were grey in color. He had sharp features and was one of richest men in her country making him one of the eligible bachelors in her country.

Nicholas noticed eyes on him, he felt happy that Bella was checking him out. He took one of his hands off the wheel and kept it on Bella's thighs. He kept his hold on her thighs while running his thumb in a circular motion to sooth her. Bella was shocked to feel his hands on her thighs. She felt less nervous when he started to rub his thumb in a soothing manner to calm her down.

When they reached the cabin Bella was in awe of her surroundings. She liked being out there in nature. Nicholas tugged her towards the cabin. The cabin was actually a resort owned by Nicholas and there was a private cabin at the back of the resort near the lake. The resort has been owned by Nicholas and his family for generations. This was their vacation spot when his family needed to be away from the spotlight.

The resort manager Mr. Knight was a close friend of the family and was happy to see Nicholas and his date when they entered. Mr. Knight went to Nicholas, caught him in a hug and spoke a few words and gave him the keys to the private cabin and mentioned about the groceries that had been filled in upon hearing his arrival. Nicholas thanked him and led Bella towards the private cabin.
