Chapter Thirty-Four

Ethan leaned back in his chair, the dim lighting of the nightclub's office casting shadows across his face. His mind raced with thoughts of revenge and strategy, the anger still simmering just beneath the surface. He couldn't shake the image of Sasha sitting beside Jonathan's hospital bed, her concern evident. It fueled his need to strike back at Ian Cruise, to make him pay for daring to send his men to attack him.

"Rowan," Ethan called out, his voice cold and commanding. Rowan, who had been standing quietly by the door, immediately stepped forward, awaiting his orders. "Tell Big Tom to keep an eye on that new picker, Ivy. I want to make sure she doesn't make any mistakes."

"Yes, Number One," Rowan replied, nodding in acknowledgment. He knew better than to question Ethan's decisions, especially regarding trust within their organization.
