She immediately rushed to her side to wake her up. After a couple of trials, Everly woke up panting. Her heart was beating rapidly and cold sweat flushed along her forehead. Her body was trembling so hard. Her mind was a mess as she stared blankly at the person holding her.
"Everly?" Manager Kim sat on the bed and looked directly into her eyes. When she didn't respond, it started to worry her. She shook her body once again. This time, Everly's eyes blinked. "Manager Kim?" Her tone was so soft that it sounded like a whisper.
Manager Kim sighed in relief. "Glad you're awake now."
