Chapter 323 Not Letting Her Leave Him

Even though Yaacob had been acting weird lately, she would not leave him because of that. Similarly, the paternity test could say Benjamin was her father, but the fact of the matter was he did not fulfill his duty as a father.

In fact, she had no memory of him at all, whereas Yaacob was always there when she needed him the most. He was the only person who gave her love and stability after her grandfather passed away. Thus, she was not going to leave him just because Benjamin kept egging her to do so.

After she hung up the phone, Nancy wanted to read a book to kill time. She went to Yaacob's study and picked up a book about Sherlock Holmes. She sat down on Yaacob's chair and happened to see the locked drawer on the left side of the desk. She did not think it was weird for Yaacob to keep that drawer locked since there were so many nosy family members living together under one big roof.
