Half an hour later, Randall and Yaacob were speaking at a different location.

"I looked into it. Someone spiked your wine last night."

Randall stood in front of the mirror as he smoked. The dense, lingering smoke embodied his melancholy.

He never smoked unless something incredibly frustrating had happened.

He heard Yaacob continue, "If it were just an ordinary person, there's no way they would have been able to spike your wine right in front of you. It's possible that they spiked the whole bottle, and it spread around."
