Chapter 0011

Rk looked outside the window...

He didn't answer her question. She didn't know what his silence mean. Did he accept his marriage with Sophia or not?

Anyway, it had nothing to do with her...

No matter how much you loved someone, six years were enough to let it go.

Stella knew that in her heart, even though she didn't leave the country... But she still choose the peaceful life she was living for six years with her baby.

As long as Adrain was here... She didn’t need anything else.

*****

At home...

Stella was about to unlock the door when it swung open from the inside.

Adrian’s little hands were still on the handle.

"Darling, you’re back!" he exclaimed with a bright smile.

Stella looked at her son and smiled.

"Was my baby waiting for Mommy? Did you have a bath already?"

Stella knew that every time she went out, this little fellow always waited for her. Not only that, he would call her from time to time... It's like he was saying to everyone...

She only belonged to him.

Because of this Stella always felt warm in her heart...

She picked him up and kissed his chubby cheeks, then settled onto the sofa with him on her lap.

Adrian snuggled into a comfortable position and pouted as he said,

"How can I eat when you’re not home? First, I worry about you coming back alone at night, and second..."

"I don’t like eating without you."

Stella heard Adrian's words and hug him tightly...

He was still just a child but sometimes he would talk like an adult. Not only did he use his sweet tongue to coax her but sometimes he was like her spiritual pillar. In short, He was her everything, and without him...

She couldn't think about her life.

"Look at how your son uses double standards to treat people differently," Emily teased, standing beside them.

"You are not allowed to get fooled by his sweet face. You have to teach him properly... He was just a child but he learns how to use his kind face to fool people... Only God knows what will happen when he grows up... I am sure he will turn the world upside down."

"Auntie, stop trying to cause trouble," Adrian pouted. "Darling! Don’t believe her."

He hugged Stella’s neck, acting like a spoiled child, as if afraid she might believe Emily’s words.

Adrian then asked, "Darling, who send you back? I just saw a beautiful car downstairs."

When Stella went out, As always Adrian went to the balcony with a stool and wait for her return. It was his habit... At that time when he was waiting, he saw RK's car.

Stella’s hand paused as she held Adrian, her body tensing.

She had never mentioned Rene Kingston to Adrian, nor had she ever told him about his father.

The only time Adrian had asked about his father was when he was still in kindergarten in France. That day when Adrian came back home he asked her, "Mommy, where is dad?"

At that time she had just said... "Dad was gone..."

She wasn’t sure if Adrian had understood that to mean his father was absent or had passed away... But after that, he never asked anything about his father.

Stella thought to herself, *My baby must believe his father has passed away.*

"That car belongs to one of Mommy’s colleagues," Stella explained. "He happened to be going the same way, so he gave me a ride."

Stella replied but deep down in her heart, she was feeling guilty because she lied to him.

But Since... Five years ago she had given birth to him, Stella had never intended to tell him about Rene Kingston was his father...

Since there was nothing between them and had no possibility in the future... She didn't want her precious baby to get involved in adult affairs...

Now when that man was about to get married...

"Ohhh,"

Adrian looked at Stella's face which was flushed with some thought and just replied casually without saying anything more.

****

After dinner...

Adrian went to his room and took out his child's Mobile phone and lay down on his small bed and looked at the phone in a daze...

There was a picture when RK sending Stella home in the car.

At first, Adrian had wanted to ask Stella if the man in the picture was her boyfriend. But upon hearing her call him just a colleague, he lost interest and decided not to ask further.

Looking at the picture on his phone, Adrian decide to zoom in on the picture to see what kind of man was her colleague.

As a result, he saw a very high-profile black car stopped downstairs.

The black car looked very bright and high-profile. Even in the dim streetlights, one could tell that the owner of this car was a high and mighty person...

Adrian didn't know much about the model of the car but as he liked to car racing games, he had known that this car was the most expensive one in the game.

He had to play the game for so many days to earn the coins to get this car but he didn't expect that... He was able to see this car very soon with her own eyes...

Adrian reasoned that Mommy’s colleague must be a rich businessman.

He zoomed in further and saw the man inside the car, dressed in a suit and leather shoes. Because the window was half opened, he could see the man's half-face. His blue eyes weredeep like the sea. He was...

He was...?

Adrian zoomed in on the picture as much as he could and he saw the man in the car looking in his direction...

"D*mit... Did this uncle find out me hiding on the balcony and taking his picture secretly?

If not, then why did he look in his direction?"

It's over... It's one...

"Should I tell mommy that I had taken his colleague's picture secretly? Will she drive me out of the house after knowing that?"

No... It couldn't happen...

He started to feel panicked.

The English is extremely poor and it doesn’t make it pleasant to read this book. I am more focused on correcting the grammar.
