XANDERS POV

I walked out of her house, feeling very sad. I got into my car and sat there for a moment, my hands gripping the steering wheel.

Memories of our marriage flooded my mind; how I had mistreated her, ignored her, and let my love for Sasha who was out living her best life cause me to divorce her.

I had fumbled the best girl on earth, and now she was suffering because of the same Sasha I left her for.

I drove to her office, my thoughts racing. When I arrived, the receptionist gave me a curious look, but I nodded at her and continued on to Adeline’s office.

I entered the office and went to her desk, determined to find the recording pen.

Locating the small hidden compartment was harder than I expected.

It was cleverly concealed, almost invisible. I searched around, feeling frustrated and anxious, until I finally spotted a tiny seam that indicated the compartment’s location.

I took a deep breath and tried our wedding date as the password.

Exactly he’s been staying at his own mansion why would he go to the home that Sasha shares with his mother. This is ridiculous and not very believable.
