Chapter 47 Being watched

“Qin!”

Wan Xia frowned and wanted to pick up the cat again.

“Miss, Prince Jing will never let you keep the cat,” said Qin suddenly when Wan Xia went over to the lion cat, “If you bring it back, there’s only one outcome.”

Wan Xia halted in her steps and looked up at the cat.

The cat unexpectedly stood there and waved goodbye with her paw before she darted off and concealed herself in the busy streets.

“Did the cat just say goodbye to us?” asked Qin quizzically.

Wan Xia was already on the horse carriage, so Qin got in quickly.

She opened the window blinds as the carriage moved and glanced in the direction the white cat had run off to.

Qin kept muttering nonstop.

Wan Xia was unhearing of Qin. Instead, she clenched her fists as they hung on the side of her body when she thought about the lion cat. The cat had escaped!
