CXLII. Resemblance of the Old Mercator

When the old ones are busy, it is the young ones who could notice how they are doing. Gwyneth might be seen privileged enough to think of these things but she cannot count herself lucky either. It might seem weird but she felt guilty for not being busy about anything else other than the equestrian calling and her school-works. She wanted to talk to Niana to at least see how this cousin is doing with her work.

Niana arrived at the manor but she would also go straight to her study to finish other business. Everyone around has their own goals after the day's work. Gwyneth doesn't have any better choice but to spend time on her own under the pergola.

Suddenly a familiar voice that she sometimes wished to not talk with has arrived.

"Why are you sitting alone here, Gwyneth?" It was Grant in his normal suit. His hands are behind him and his eyes are rather staring outside of the manor that allows them to view a large field of flax lightened by a few lampposts
