Chapter 119

Dinner was amazing, as usual, and grandma is staring at Damien with pride. I said, "What are you thinking?" She says, "there is no better feeling than to be able to fill the belly of a man that big." Damien is slouched on the couch, groaning and holding his stomach. I shake my head and laugh at him, "I warned you. Aren't you glad I told you to wear the shorts?" Damien said, "Oh Goddess! I don't know what I would've done if I had worn jeans." I said, "You thought I was exaggerating." He said, "I know you weren't now." Grandma starts laughing and nudges me. She points to grandpa and Uncle Ace. They are both fast asleep. I laugh even harder when grandma says, "Happens every time." Damien starts laughing as I say, "I told you; Food coma or miserable." Damien puts his arm around me and says, "You were right. I will never doubt you again."

Grandma says, "You better not. I'm sure you haven't had her mad at you yet, but you don't want to see us mad." Damien said, "I've seen her mad
