The Oracle & The Dragon: Ch 84

As I played with Hugo, Aidinth took out his phone and started taking video of the ball game that we were playing. We had stopped playing fetch, and started playing a game similar to volleyball, except we didn’t have a net. The only objective was to keep the ball from touching the ground. I was laughing hard as I watched Hugo’s mouth barely make contact with the ball, then he would snap his jaw shut to make the ball pop up. I would get under the ball and slap it back to him. We played for two hours before he finally got tired and went to rest.

I walked back to the chair next to Aidinth and chuckled as I sat down. Aidinth asked, “You looked like you were having so much fun. We need to get you a pet. I know you’ll be so much happier if you have one.” I laughed, “I don’t think I really want one. I really don’t want to have that commitment.
