I furrowed my brows, "I'm sorry Samantha, I was so wrapped up in him, that I forgot to tell you. Will you forgive me?" She smiled, then squealed and hugged me, "Are you kidding me? I'm so happy for you! I could never be mad at you for that. I want you to be happy." I smiled, "Good, because I am over-the-moon happy right now! Who knew that my mate would be a dragon!" She asked, "He's a dragon?" I nodded my head, "A dragon prince!" She swooned, "Aww. You deserve to be treated like the princess you are." I gushed, "Thank you! He is so sweet and considerate. I never thought I would have a mate, much less one like him!" She started laughing, "Now I know why your wolf chose that color for your dress." I asked, "Why?" She replied, "It's the color of light smoke, silly!" I giggled, "That didn't even dawn on me until you brought it up."

We walked to my grandparents' house and grandma had all the guys at the table feeding them breakfast. They tried to apologize to Aidinth, and he put up a hand. He laughed, "I understand completely.
