Part 95

/Aiden's POV/

I sat silently at the head of the ancient oak table while these grown alphas chatter among themselves. The last thing I wanted was to sit through the tedious council meeting. As a future Pack Alpha, I had no choice but to attend them along with my beta and listen to these old hags talk like they have been through it all.

My hands fell on the side, gripping the armrest of my chair as I focused most of my energy, not on listening to this lively debate but on stopping myself from jumping across the table and strangling as many councillors as I could.

Their voices mix in a crescendo of opinions, clouding the conversation and giving me another reason to ignore the incessant bickering.

Rias on my last nerve. I hope Aiden tells Damon its a waste of time because he doesnt want Ria, she aint worth their friendship or his relationship with Rose.

Michaela made a good point, can he decline? Does he have to duel so he won’t lose face?
