Chapter 68: Solace

As I ran through the hospital corridors, everything felt like a blur. My mind was consumed by the thoughts of Ameline - her smile, her laughter, her presence. I couldn't bear the thought of never being able to hear her voice or see her face again. It felt like a nightmare that I couldn't escape from.
