Soon enough, the new guide on duty walked over. "Mister Penn, Madam Judy has made it clear that there's no changing her mind on the bronze cauldron, and she hopes you won't come here anymore." "Anything could happen. I understand where Madam Judy is coming from, but I'm sure I'll be able to touch her heart with my determination. Madam Judy will eventually sell the cauldron to me." The guide's face flushed. She was going to ask Wilbur to leave, only for him to be so fiercely confident that she had no choice but to say, "Alright, then. Do as you wish." Wilbur came out of the museum and received a call from Layla. "Sir, according to the latest news, the deputy leader of the Black Panthers, Bernard Stoli, is on his way to Migorn with the other three members of the Black Panthers. All eight members will gather in Migorn by noon today. Their next step will probably be to team up and go after you." "Please be careful, sir." "Of course. Don't worry about me. I can handle a few stra
The others lowered their heads at Perry's words, who asked, "Bernard, will you be scared if Wilbur Penn really is our master's chosen one?" "No." "Why not?" Bernard sneered. "I would've been dead a long time ago if it hadn't been for Master. He's the only reason we have the privilege of life, and I've lived for quite a while. Besides, we've pledged our loyalty to the Master in the first place. Death is hardly something I fear." "Do you not fear Wilbur, then?" "Why should I? If he is Master's chosen one, we would be fated to die at his hands. If he isn't the chosen one, we'll be the ones to kill him instead. All we have to do is try our very best and leave the rest up to fate." "You're absolutely right. Let's go." The Black Panthers got into a car, and Bernard asked, "Perry, where are we going?" Perry said, "Automotive giant Billy Erwin's manor." "You mean Billy Erwin of Kaylee Automotives?" "Yes. He's one of Master's men and only made it to this day with Master's bl
Due to the fact that Wilbur and Perry knew each other, and it was said that the Black Panthers only killed evil cultivators, Wilbur did not want to kill them. He turned and entered his room when his phone rang with a call from Ellen. Ellen was sobbing. "Where are you, Wilbur?" "Ellen? What's the matter?" Wilbur found out that Ellen and Lisa had been kicked out of home, so he rushed to them at once. He found them by the road outside of Ellen's house and noticed that Perry was also there. "Perry? What's this? You still aren't giving up yet?" Perry smiled. "You are powerful, Wilbur, but your lady's weak. If you want to save them, come to this address and look for me tomorrow." Perry tossed a card to Wilbur, turning away and becoming invisible, disappearing from his view. Wilbur looked down at the card, which read: Carrington Building, balcony. Carrington Building was a pretty iconic landmark in Migorn, as it was the first skyscraper in the nation. Despite the fact that W
All eight men turned invisible at the same time, and Wilbur was the only one left on the balcony to face the gigantic black panther as it took off charging toward him. The black panther moved incredibly fast, clawing at Wilbur viciously. Wilbur's right hand flipped over, and the thunder cleaver appeared in his grasp. Wilbur swung it at the front left paw of the panther, but the panther ended up holding the cleaver down before swiping at Wilbur's stomach. Wilbur summoned a thunder spear in his left hand, which he hurled at the panther's stomach. It pierced through the panther's stomach as it let out a howl of pain, and the grip on the thunder cleaver loosened considerably. Wilbur took the opportunity to grab the cleaver and soared backward at top speed before bringing it down onto the panther's head. The panther opened its mouth, waving its right front paw over. Wilbur scrambled to dart backward, avoiding its sharp claws. The next second, the panther pounced with its jaw agape
The dragon let out a howl of fury, soaring around the air before clawing at the black panther's head. It snapped off the panther's shoulders with one firm twist, and the dragon flicked its tail sharply to crumble the panther's body into dust. A powerful explosion of rampant spiritual energy burst through the air at once. The black panther was the center of the formation. Now that it was slain, the spiritual energy shot out as the eight members of the Black Panthers were forced out of their invisible states and suffered severe backlash. Wilbur stared down at the eight members coldly. "It's your turn now." Just then, a ray of golden light shot out of the four cauldrons onto the ground, forming the shape of a person. A white-haired elder appeared in front of the eight Black Panthers, who knelt in front of him. "At your service, Master." The senior looked at Wilbur calmly. "Please let them go on my account, young man." "Who are you?" Wilbur was nothing but confused as to who th
"Thank you, Senior Fremont Skye!" Wilbur bowed to Fremont as he faded into golden dust, disappearing out of sight. "Ugh!" "Argh!" The eight Black Panthers spat out blood from the backlash of the broken formation, collapsing onto the ground. Wilbur glanced at them, before coming up to Perry and stretching out a hand. "Come on, get up." Perry chuckled. "I knew you were going to succeed. No one else in the world is going to chance upon such fate." Wilbur helped Perry off the ground with a frown. "So, you knew I was going to pass the test?" "That's right. I'd guessed it early on. What I didn't expect, though, was that the Master had left a spirit imprint on the Nine Dragon Cauldrons." "How'd you know I was going to pass the test?" "I knew you were extraordinary from the first time I met you ten years ago. You have an aura nothing like I've ever seen before, as well as your tenacity." "Thank you. You were going to die if Senior Fremont hadn't appeared just now, though. W
Ellen threw herself into Wilbur's arms as she wept. "I hate you, and I love you so much too. You ruined my life but gave me a second chance at it." All of a sudden, a sharp pain shot through Wilbur's left shoulder. Following that, Ellen let Wilbur go, saying, "I'll remember you forever, Wilbur Penn. Goodbye." Ellen pushed her mother Lisa as they left, leaving Wilbur standing on the sprawling balcony. The night breeze blew on relentlessly, and Wilbur's chest ached. He understood that Ellen could not move on from Howie's death just like that. Besides, there was no way things were going to develop between Wilbur and Ellen now. Who was going to want to date the guy who caused her father's demise? Wilbur returned to his room and took the four dragon cauldrons out. He inspected the carvings on them before putting the second, third, and fourth dragon cauldrons back into his demiplane, leaving only the first dragon cauldron behind. Wilbur stroked the carvings on the cauldron. The fir
The dragon was hidden deep amongst water and clouds, which made it so that no one would notice it. However, dragons were not like the typical cultivator. Dragons represented justice and kindness, and it was only by being honorable and kind that one could control dragon aura. After all, kind and just thoughts were the key to calming the dragon aura that had gone wild. Wilbur's head was filled with thoughts then, and he felt like he had stumbled upon a secret about the dragon aura. If dragon aura could sense everything within the area it filled, it would be of great help, especially if it could sense cultivators who cast invisibility spells. Wilbur would be able to avoid most of the danger close to him. How could that be achieved, then? Wilbur felt like he definitely did not know enough about dragon aura. He thought back to his time in Cametra, when Paul said that the power of light and the power of destruction came from the middle dimensions and thus used the middle-dimensional la
