Chapter 1970

Ellen screamed, "Watch out, Wilbur!"

Wilbur grabbed the baton Howie swung at him, yanking it out of Howie's grasp as a fierce gust of wind swept past and made a chill run down Howie's back. The baton was somehow right on top of Howie's head, and he trembled as he stared at Wilbur. "W-What are you t-trying to do?"

Wilbur yanked Howie into a room. "I think we should really have a talk about your family and your life, Mister Howie. You definitely owe Ellen and her mother an explanation."

Howie snapped out of his daze then, flaring up in rage. "Who the f*ck do you think you are? My family is none of your business!"

Wilbur kicked Howie to the floor, and a sharp pain spread through Howie's stomach as he rolled around close to tears.

Wilbur asked, "Is it my business now?"

"You… fine."

Howie knew that he was no match for Wilbur and could only comply. Wilbur walked to the door and shooed the four hooligans away before closing the door and sitting down at the table. "Come on, Miste
