Finally, one of the men stepped forward, his hands raised in a placating gesture. "Look, we don't want any trouble. Serkov was here, but he left a few hours ago. He mentioned something about heading to a safe house near the lake."

Angelo's eyes narrowed. "Which lake?"

"Lake Zurich," the man replied quickly. "There's an old cabin there. It's remote, perfect for hiding out."

Angelo nodded, lowering his gun but keeping it ready. "If you're lying to me, I'll be back. And trust me, you don't want that."

The men nodded nervously, and Angelo backed out of the warehouse, his mind racing. He quickly called Kelsey and relayed the information.

"Meet me at Lake Zurich," he instructed. "There's a cabin there. Serkov might be hiding out."

"We're on our way," Kelsey replied, and the line went dead.

Angelo made his way to the lake, his heart pounding. He knew this could be their best chance to stop Serkov and protect Emily. As he approached the cabin, he saw the dim glow of a light inside. He moved q
