Emily's point of View;

The day dragged on in a blur of unfamiliar faces and foreign words. The other students eyed me curiously, whispering behind their hands. I felt like an outsider, unable to connect with anyone. The teachers were strict, their lessons fast-paced and challenging.

I struggled to keep up, feeling overwhelmed by the language barrier and the cultural differences.

During lunch, I sat alone at a table, picking at the food on my tray.

The cafeteria was noisy, filled with laughter and chatter that I couldn’t join in. I missed my brothers terribly. I wondered what they were doing, if they were thinking of me.

The letter had been a lie, but the ache in my heart was very real.

"New Girl!" I heard someone say loudly making me lift my head.

"yes?" I asked softly, standing in front of me were two boys.

both with black hair.

why can't it be a girl!?, most it be boys.

"you look sad and lonely, what's your name?" the one at the right asked me.
