Sacha's POV
It was the start of another week and Judy and I were both enjoying our new environment. I got her prepped extra early for school but that wasn't necessary since the school bus picked her up right in front of the front entrance to our gate.
After she had left, I decided to invite my best friend over. I didn't want her to get the wrong impression of me no longer wanting anything to do with her. I'll always be appreciative for what she had done when I needed her the most.
Within the time span of three hours, Remy showed up at my new place. I had already prepared hot wings, one of her favorites, and I put on a movie on the seventy inch flat screen television in the living-room.
"Well, this is certainly nice," Remy said as she walked in and started looking around.
"Thanks," I responded and handed her a plate.
"So, you'll soon have your first million dollars?" She sat down.
Christian's POV*LOUD SLAM*I was in my home office when the doors slammed in rather loudly, disturbing me from the task at hand. I looked up and saw my 'beloved fiancee' with a nasty scowl on her face."What is it this time?" I asked, turning my eyes back to my computer but turning a listening ear to her."I cannot believe you would stoop that low, Christian!" she yelled. I looked at her for a quick second, just before she walked back out of the room.'What the hell! Does she actually know about what I've been doing with Sacha? No, it can't be. There's no way she could find out so soon.'Then I heard the mellow greeting of my mother's voice, calling from downstairs. I got up and met her in the foyer."Hello mother, so you've finally decided to come," I greeted her back."Oh Christian, I'm here for one reason and one reason only. Audrey told me that
Sacha's POVChristian's eyes were locked on me and by the look on his face, he wasn't too happy with seeing me on Josh's arm."Josh, can you do me a quick favor? I've left my car windows up in the VIP parking lot," Christian told Josh who instantly caught the car keys."Say no more, boss. Sacha, would you...""Leave Sacha here, I'll be keeping her company," Christian cut it. Josh nodded like a child and left me standing in front of Christian like a helpless infant zebra about to get mauled by a lion."Why are you here with him?" he asked me now."What's wrong with that?" I found myself rudely asking. Christian's eyes blazed with anger and his nostrils flared as if steam was passing through them."You have some nerves Christian. I haven't heard from you in days. You've been ignoring me completely but when I show up with a guy, you're getting angry at me."
Sacha's POVThis was pure madness. My hands were shaking from fright and beads of sweat appeared on my forehead. I looked around, wondering if the person who sent the picture was still looking at me to see what I'll do next.I went inside, armed the security system and texted Christian to tell him what had happened. He didn't like the sound of it and he assured me that he'll be by later on tonight.Someone definitely knows and have proof of us in bed together."What if those pictures hit the media, Christian?" I asked when he indeed came over. He was looking at the picture. The angle was obvious. The picture was taken from outside the balcony to my bedroom. The waterfall sliding door was doing a poor job of hiding us and the curtains were of white mesh.As the idea crossed my mind, I changed the curtains to a thick red velvet and I made sure the doors were locked."Sacha, it's
Four Weeks Later*Christian's POV"Man, this is eating you up alive. You look terrible," Tim said when he walked into my office and handed me a cup of coffee. I sipped from its content slowly."You have no idea how hard it is. There's something about this girl that I can't get out of my head," I told him."Ah, Christian, you're going soft on me.""No but she's just different than the others. I'm tempted to pick up the phone and call her. With the others, I couldn't wait to block their numbers. Sacha Rish is one of a kind, man.""So, you're missing her? Why not just call her for real?""I can't. I have a wedding to focus on. As a matter of fact, I have to go pick up my suit. You're in charge." With that, I peeled myself off the chair and we walked out of my office.I got into my car and drove to the boutique where my pitch white perfect suit was wait
Sacha's POVRemy turned towards me with fear in her eyes. I was the last person she was expecting to run into and when the van pulled away with a loud screech, she had no other choice but to face me."Remy, how could you? How could you betray me like this?!" I yelled at the top of my lungs."I didn't swear my loyalty to you!" she had the audacity to snap back at me. The center of my palms heated up because it was taking every nerves in my body to not hit my former best friend."You're a snake," I told her."Oh, so now I'm the snake because I'm making my money moves.""So that's what this is about, huh, money?""You know what is your problem Sacha, you think you're so perfect and such a saint but when Christian came along and offered you money in exchange of sex, you had no problem spreading your legs for him.I may be a snake, but at least I don't s
Christian's POVI turned off my cellphone, avoiding the call distractions. It was the rehearsal dinner. Friends and family had gathered to congratulate Audrey and I, while stuffing their faces with food.I wasn't happy about being here, but my guilt wouldn't let me leave. I had cheated on Audrey countless times just to accomplish a silly goal I had up with my friends since in high school, but that silly goal led me to a wonderful young woman. A young woman I couldn't get out of my head."Wouldn't you agree, Christian?" my mother asked."Huh?" I asked, shaking myself from my thoughts."To honeymoon in Paris," she answered."Umm, yeah, sure, why not?" I was at a lost. My head wasn't in the dinner. Audrey's hand found mine underneath the table. She was sitting right next to me."Are you okay?" she asked in a whisper."I'm great," I lied.
Christian's POV"YOU GOT HER WHAT!" Tim yelled when I told him about Sacha being pregnant. We were having coffee in my office as usual. It was Monday and I still didn't have the courage of telling Audrey the truth which was pathetic of me because I at least owed her that."Man, this is messed up and disastrous on your path. And you told her to go through with the pregnancy? What would happen when Audrey and your mother hears this, bro?" he went on."You do realized that Audrey and my mother aren't the boss of me, right?" I asked him as I twirled the cup of coffee on the desk."What did I miss?" Kevin walked into the room."Mr.'Ding a Ling' here got the black girl pregnant," Tim answered."Why you got to say her complexion instead of just using her name. Her name is Sacha. Not the 'black girl'. I narrowed my eyes and glared at him."I'm sorry. I'm sorry," he quickly
Sacha's POVAfter being discharged from the hospital a day ago, I was sitting on my bed, in my bedroom, pondering on how my life had taken a drastic turn. I wasn't ordinary Sacha Rish three months ago. I had over one million dollars in the bank - with interest and previous savings from my job, and I was pregnant with a billionaire's baby.A small wave of excitement rushed through me as I pictured myself being a family with Christian, raising our child and Judy together, but that excitement faded away when a knock came to the door downstairs.I picked myself up and went to open the door. In walked Christian's fiancee with another woman whom I assumed was Christian's mother since she held the same emerald green eyes like his."Can I help you ladies?" I asked, turning around to face them. They laughed in unison."So this is the one who has been screwing my son?""That'
Sacha's POVAt home, the maids got the dinner table ready for dinner. Judy was sitting, playing on her iPad and was attending to Champion, the baby. My husband wasn't home as yet and I patiently awaiting his arrival. When dinner was being served, Christian came. He freshened up quickly before joining us in the dinning room."Hey beautiful. How was your day today?" he asked me with a quick kiss on the lips."Entertaining," I answered."Nice. And Judy, how was your day?""As usual," she answered."Judy, we're about to have dinner. Put the iPad away," I instructed to my kid sister who was getting as tall as I was."Sorry," she apologized and complied.______After dinner, I put Champion to bed and I got freshen up. Entering into the bedroom, Christian pulled me into his arms but I hesitated."Is something wrong?" he asked me."Everythin
Sacha's POVLife was good. After Christian and I got married and moved into his mansion to create our family, I did some self- reflection.I was happy to be with someone who cared about me although the circumstances surrounding how we met and got involved were not one of the best.~It was a new week and I was looking forward to taking the baby out for a morning walk.Judy had left for school and Christian had left for work. The maids were doing chores around the house.I placed our son into a stroller and we left. I loved the neighborhood. Lush, tall trees lined the roadway. Everyone's property was well kept, the lawns and bushes were trimmed and shaped neatly, the air was cleaned and so was the streets."Hey, good morning, Sacha," a voice behind me greeted.I looked and saw my next door neighbor jogging up to me."Hi Esme," I answered."And hi baby," she sai
Sacha's POVAfter accepting Christian's proposal to marry him, my kid sister and myself moved into his extraordinary mansion.I was so thrilled to be 'at home' with him finally. He was always present in my and Judy's life. And he was extra excited in becoming a father. He never missed an OBGYN appointment.Judy regained full usage of her legs and she no longer had to use a wheelchair to get around. She told me exercising was now her favorite thing to do and that one day she wanted to own a gym.You Go Girl! Dreams are meant to be conquered. As for motherhood, it came all too instantly. I gave birth to a bouncing baby girl and we named her Christina.Christian Alexander. She has such a nice ring to her name.***The wedding day was magical. I wore a white dress as big as a cloud which dazzled with rhinestones. I
Sacha's POV"Sacha, you have that look in your eyes. Don't do anything crazy," Josh cautioned."Josh, I just found out I've been best friends with a snake. A cobra that's spitting venom on my life to tarnish me. What have I ever done to Remy to deserve this betrayal AGAIN?" I lashed out.I shouldn't be taking my anger out on Josh. He didn't deserve it but I was hormonal and I wanted Remy's head on a platter."I understand your pain. She's the cause for.....""She's the cause of everything falling apart from around me," I cut Josh off and finished. He nodded in agreement and sat down beside me on the couch. Remy would be home any minute now and I couldn't wait for her to walk through the door.We sat in silence until I heard the door being opened and Remy walked in.As if possessed, I heaved myself off
Sacha's POVI couldn't visit Judy without seeing Christian as well. Although he was still in a coma and no telling when he'll wake up, I still wanted to be close to him.I sat next to him quietly as I observed his motionless form. Memories flooded my mind. The first time I saw him at the club. When he pulled up and offered me a ride home. When he took my virginity away and used the term 'make love' instead of 'fuck'.The times when I talked to him about my troubles and he gave me his entire Summer house that looks more like a freaking mansion."You have to wake up," I whispered in his ears as I held his hand. And then I felt it. I felt his fingers wrapping around mine and a firmed hold occurred.Happy tears slipped from my eyes as his eyes star
Sacha's POVI was glad to have Remy in my corner like a time like this. I needed my best friend back and I had her. After hours at the hospital, after down pour of tears and after I threw my hormonal tantrums, I was at home resting on my favorite couch.I mind instantly went back to Christian. He had me on this couch just some hours ago, kissing me and holding me in his strong arms.I exhaled heavily. No matter how much I tried to calm myself, my mind would visit memories of him or my little sister and I would get angry all over again.I reached for a vase and smashed it and screamed with rage and pure anger."Sacha," Remy said."I needed to let that out, Remy.""How about we try to take your mind off what happened?""How? Huh? How are you going to do that when my life is practic
Sacha's POVI simultaneously glanced at the clock again and tried Christian's number for the thousandth time.It wasn't like him to ignore my calls when he was out with my little sister."Hey," Remy said, walking into the living room area to join me."Hi," I answered coldly."What's wrong?" she asked, looking as I removed the phone from my ear to no avail of getting Christian."Something is wrong. I have this pit feeling that something is wrong with Christian and my sister.""Oh, come on Sacha. He took her to the doctor. What can possibly go wrong? His phone is probably in the car and he's with Judy, spoiling her with shopping and stuff.""No. Judy isn't well. I don't believe he'll take her shopping after the doctor.""Well, maybe they went to get a bite to eat. Don't worry yourself too muc
Sacha's POV "Christian? What are you doing here?" I was shell-shocked. He was there, right in front of me, smiling but panting as if he had been running laps around the world. "You." He came closer to me, our lips barely an inch apart. He cupped my face between the palms of his hands and looked right into my eyes. "You're all I need. I needed you before. I need you right now. I need you forever," he whispered in my ear before kissing me on the cheek. "But... But... Your wedding, your fiancee," I stuttered. "That is over with. All I need is you Sacha. I want to have a family with you. I want us to to raise our child together and I want to be there for Judy. She's a great kid." Happy tears slipped out my eyes. I must be dreaming. I've been too obsessed with Christian Alexander that it reaches to a point where I was imagining him confessing his feelings to me on the
Sacha's POVI allowed Remy to crash at Christian's summer house while she grieved and I silently coped with the heartbreak from not having Christian in my life.It was Saturday. The day of Christian's wedding. There was to be a live stream on the whole event and I had logged on to view it. I wanted what was best for him and to see him happy even if that meant seeing him married someone else."Hey, good morning," Remy greeted me when she saw me sitting by myself on the patio close to the outdoor swimming pool."Good morning," I answered and tried hard to cover the sorrow in my voice."What are you doing?""Oh, umm, watching the early preparation for the wedding.""What? Sacha, no. You can't be doing this to yourself," she said and took my cellphone away and turned off the live streaming."Christian made his choice. You just need to accept that and mo
