Chapter 64: Road to recovery

Lily had woken up from her coma but unfortunately could not remember anything. Now they need to run a test on her to understand her situation better. Derrick had joyfully shared the news of Lily waking up with Luis but skipped the details about her memory loss.

Luis has information from the interrogation, which has raised some questions which he intends to investigate.

Rose opened her eyes slowly. She lay on the bed for a while and decided to turn but realized there was a hand on her waist and someone breathing studly behind her neck. She remembered she was in Luis's room, and she recalled the night's event that led to her sleeping in Luis's room. Not wanting to wake him, she gently tried to free herself from his grip, but he held her tighter in his sleep anytime she moved.

She resigned to staying in bed for a while and decided to face up on the bed. She slowly turned and decided to catch a glimpse of his sleeping face. This will be her first time seeing his sleeping face that close. S
