Chapter 108; No good for you

Myra was lying in bed thinking about the exams she had written earlier that day. She sat up uncomfortably and took a book and flipped through it, she read a line or two and sighed.

“It’s correct” she whispered “you better get an A Myra!” She scolded herself and layback in her bed. There was a loud knock on her door so she climbed out of bed and went to open it only to find Cody buried in his jacket shivering. She quickly ushered him in and tried to make him a cup of hot tea. Cody placed his gifts on the table and took off his jacket, he hanged it on the wall. Then hugged her.

“Mr. Whyte are you okay?” She asked hugging him back.

“Just stay like this for a while, please” he begged and Myra gently patted his back, looking small in his arms. Cody had wept all the way to Myra’s place, confused as to what to do with her mother’s request. He lifted his head and disengaged from the hug.
