Chapter 1458

After feeling stunned, Severin held Sofia's hand and brought her into the room.

"Come in," he said.

At this point, Sofia had not thought of an excuse. She brainstormed quickly while her heart was pounding hard. When she looked back, Severin had closed and locked the door which made her even more nervous than before.

"I'm a little thirsty. Do you have any water in your room?" she asked while pretending to be dizzy by holding her head. "I think I drank too much. I feel like the world is spinning."

Severin quickly poured a glass of water and held Sofia so she would not fall. Then he passed the water to Sofia. "Here. Drink this. It will make you feel better. You got too excited and drank too much. I told you that you shouldn't drink that much but you didn't listen. You must be feeling very uncomfortable now."

As Sofia finished drinking the water, her mind went blank.

Severin took the chance and gave Sofia a hug. He said, "Why don't you stay here tonight so I can take care of you?"
