Emily's POV.

I stirred tiredly, my eyes weakly snapping open to a brand new day.

I have never looked forward to a new day the way I desperately craved for it last night. It felt like everything kept going wrong with each passing second and the only solution was to magically jump into a new dawn.

Well, here it was and I couldn't be more happy. It was finally time to leave the Gonzalez mansion for Adrian's home.

I could tell it will be a lot of fresh air, and finally I could be somewhere safe from Elisha. After our encounter last night, she had left with heavy anger, not without mentioning that this was far from being over.

I couldn't deny the fact that I was fed up already, this wasn't how I envisioned my life after the divorce to turn out.
