2024-10-29 19:42:56When we are finished eating, we make our way back to the hotel, looking through all the different stores and Samantha buys a handful of things. Just before we arrive at the entrance, I look up to see that it's about to storm.
"I guess we will either have to stay in the rest of the afternoon or find somewhere that has everything inside. I don't want to get stuck out in a storm." Hurrying in the door, I almost run into a tall man in his fifties, who looks remarkably like a famous actor I admire. Double taking, I glance at him again just before he disappears outside.
"Hmm. That looked just like Rock Middleton. Did you see him?" I ask Samantha, but she is too busy staring at the hotty in front of us. He looks to be in his forties and has that domineering look about him, black hair and dark brown eyes.

On thursday after several days of non stop harassment from Jake, I finally decide to take things into my own hands. Walking into his office, I scan the room for him and all I see is his computer open and turned on. I wonder where he is, so I sit down patiently waiting for him. Fifteen minutes rolls by and he is nowhere to be found.Eileen walks in and notifies me that Jake won't be able to make it to the meeting. It turns out that he got held up in traffic downtown and won't be back for who knows how long. I have the sweetest dream I can ever remember dreaming. Waking up, I recall all of it crystal clear. It's strange, because I don't think I have ever had a dream that seemed so real. Spending the rest of the week at home, I do my best to relax and sleep. However, when someone like me is couped up for so long, I tend to go stir crazy. First, I try reading a book and taking it easy. After about an hour, I find myself wondering what kind of mess Jake is getting the Company into.
