“Anything is fine.”

Chester was leaning so close that Charity turned her face away unnaturally.

His gaze lingered on her face for two seconds before returning to the menu.

After ordering and waiting for the waiter to leave, Chester said, “I did some research online, and it seems that their risotto here is famous.”

“Haven’t you been here before?” Charity asked.

“Who could I have been here with?”

Charity glanced at him. “Who knows? You’ve been with countless women.”

Chester’s scalp tingled. It was no wonder so many men were afraid of women bringing up the past.

“But I’ve only ever loved you.”

He held her hand brazenly.

Upon recalling his past, Charity felt annoyed and flung his hand away. “Can you men separate love from your bodies?”

“Charity, didn’t we promise not to mention the past?” Chester said frustratedly, “I even lost my manhood and paid the price.”
