“I’ve been hiding a lot of things from you. What’s strange about it?”

Catherine grinned and threw that remark casually. Her expression that was as cunning as a fox instantly made Shaun choke.

“Cathy, I never hide anything from you,” Shaun said glumly.

“But every time you file a lawsuit, do you tell me your litigant’s matters?” Catherine refuted. “I always keep other people’s secrets, not mine. I have no right to tell you about those. If you’re so great, you can ask Chester. Let’s see if he’ll tell you.”

Shaun looked helpless. He felt as though his wife and buddies were boycotting him. “It’s unknown whether Chester will wake up.”

“Don’t worry. He will.” After pausing for a moment, Catherine said, “They say bad people will never die.”

Shaun was at a loss for words.

Catherine continued to comfort him, saying, “Look how wicked Sarah was. She only died after causing so much trouble. Although Rodney has turned into a fool, he’s still fine. He’s always laughing and is happier than us.”
