5. Our mate is in trouble!

"Did you find a job yet!" Uncle sneered at Ava who shuddered at his malice behaviour towards her, as always.

"N....no uncle, but i am still busy with going to interviews" She almost whispered fearfully of the consequences.

"By the end of this week you will have a job or else!!.....it is about time you start earning and pay us what you owe! All the money we spend on you and that....that little kid sister of yours , is eating away our savings! so you better find a well paid job soon otherwise I'll throw you out in the street so you can earn some money through there, if you know what i mean so hurry up and get a job!!" He said harshly towards Ava who was on the verge of crying by now, shaking like a leaf.

Once uncle was gone she quickly ran upstairs and locked herself in the bedroom where her sister was busy trying to focus on her homework.

"I'm sorry sis.....please don't cry, we will get you a good job okay, you'll see!" Betty whispered, trying to comfort her crying sister with a heavy, aching heart.

"I am sorry Betty, I'm supposed to comfort you! Now look at us, you are comforting me!.....life is so unfair!" Ava muttered.

"Yes but at least we have each other! Our parents would be so upset if they could see us so we should stay together and help and support each other as much as needed!"

"Yeah that's true dear!" Ava says sighing as she lay down on her bed.

Slowly she drifted away not knowing what tomorrow would bring.

The following morning....

"Lucas, my dear man! How are you doing?" Uncle asked his friend over the phone.

"I'm good, how's the wife Bert?"

"Ah not bad not bad, just those kids are a pain in the behind, costing us lots of money but don't bring anything in!" Uncle Bert sighed.

"But you said kids, so that's what kids do, they cost money until they are old enough to vent for themselves right!!" Lucas chuckled.

"The eldest is 18, and her sister just turned 17, eo i would say that they can work and earn money but that horrible kid still hasn't found a job with a proper income, she is now doing 4 jobs who pay shit and she is not giving us any dime of it!" Uncle Bert muttered.

"Hmm so she needs to have a job with big cash, is that what you are saying?" Lukas replied with a thought in mind.

"Yes, yes, so she can start paying us back what we have spent on both of them!" Uncle Bert says annoyed.

"Consider it done my friend!" Lucas says smirking.

"What? What do you mean?"

"Well the club can always use some new flesh so let them meet me and i give them both a job, the younger sister can work as a waitress and the eldest can do more, depending on her looks and talents....if you know what i mean, so how's that sounding?"

"My friend, you are the best!! Finally we will get some earnings from those annoying kids!" Uncle Bert smirked.

"Good! Bring them tonight, I'll have the contracts ready by then!"

"Okay will do, and thanks again, see you tonight!" Uncle Bert said and cut the call with a huge evil grin on his face.

He stood up and walked upstairs and entered the bedroom of the girls without knocking.

"Get yourselves ready for tonight, we go out, I've managed to find a job for the both of you at the same place!" He says coldly looking at the two surprised sisters.

After he had left, the girls looked at each other, not really knowing if they should be happy or not......

Hours later.....

Ava and Betty sat together in the backseat of the car as uncle Bert drove with them towards Lucas nightclub called The Matrix.

Once there he parked in the underground garage and walked with both of them to the elevator and used his Gold card to open it and pressed the ground floor button after they had entered.

"I want you two to behave! My friend owns this club and offered to hire you without even an interview so you are both very lucky! You got that?" He asked coldly with piercing eyes looking at their trembling forms.

"Y...yes uncle but....but what do we need to do, what's the job about?" Ava asked timidly.

"Your sister will serve customers in the restaurant or bar and you i don't know yet, Lucas will tell you that, just listen to him and do what he says!" Uncle Bert says before het stopped out into the lobby after the elevator had stopped and opened.

The girls were greeted with loud music, a scent mixture of sweat, alcohol, smoke, and different kinds of lingering perfumes.

They follow uncle Bert, hand in hand as he walks in front of them towards an office while passing some drunk and flirty men.

"I don't like to work here sis!" Betty whispered towards Ava with scared eyes.

"I know me neither! But let's wait and see and when uncle is gone I'll try to talk with his friend to see what we can change ok!"

"Okay" Betty sighed.

After they went all inside they were greeted by a bug bulky man named Lucas. They all sat down and uncle Bert started to talk with him first, as the sisters just sat at the side close to each other.

Sometime later uncle Bert left them alone with Lucas after a sharp look at both of them.

"So, welcome to my club, The Matrix girls!" Lucas started with a smirk....

At the same time on the other side of the club....

"Come on Griss, let's just have fun for once! You're so tight on these past days!" Lionel said.

"I know, i know but Bruno has been bugging me to find her, not that i don't want to find her myself but he's pushing me to my limits and I'm exhausted! I've never been out there for so long!" Grissom muttered as both men walked inside after showing their VIP pass.

"Hmm sounds like your Bruno is already head over heels in love!" Lionel smirked.

"Hmm yeah well i need to see her again before i can decide because she ran out on me....sorry on Bruno and me, anyways let's get some drinks"

"Sure! And i can't wait until I find my mate! Cesar has been very interesting in your story and I can't wait for our own!" Lionel says as they walk inside the club towards the bar in the VIP section.

Once there they placed their order for drinks and sat down at the barstool and looked around at the crowd on the dancefloor.

After the bartender gave them their drinks Grissom was about to take his first zip when suddenly he felt Bruno waking up from slumber, getting restless in his mind, trying to take control.

"Bruno, what's up?" Lionel asked as he sees Grissom's eyes suddenly start to glow golden, a sign of Bruno taking over.

Gridsok shook his head and closed his eyes for a moment and his eyes changed back to his normal blue ones again.

"She's here, our little human mate and she's in trouble! I can feel it in my gut!" Grissom growled.

"Really? Sh*t, ok let's go find her then!" Lionel says as Grissom gave the control back to his bear after putting his sunglasses on to make his glowing eyes.

*Bruno* "she is close by on the ground floor, i can smell her scent but she smells like fear....let go!" He muttered moving towards the employee section.

As they were getting more and more closer to Lucas office Bruno & Grissom's heartbeat went higher and higher with the second until they heard someone sobbing and pleading for their life.

Bruno stood still and after one last sniff in the air he growled and lunches forward and tries the door of Lucas office open only to witness Lucas with his jeans down pounding into his little mate who looked like a ghost with a pale face and red puffy eyes of crying.

He freezes in the spot and with a low loud growl he lunches forward towards Lucas and pushed him against the wall with his legs dangling above the floor.

"You dare to touch my MATE!! You dare to put your filthy meat inside MY  MATE!! ......you will pay for this!!!" Bruno says after he had removed his sunglasses, looking straight into Lucas shocked eyes while Lionel is looking after a very frightened and upset Ava.

"Don't kill him Bruno, we don't want to scare our little mate more than she already is! Let's just take here out of here and we will deal with this monster later!!" Grissom pleaded with Bruno who he felt was screaming murder in his head.

After pounding the daylights out of him but leaving hin still alive he turned around to look at his mate.

He scurried over and went down on his knees in front of her.

She had stopped crying by now but was still shivering like a leaf.

"It's okay little one! I'm here! I will protect you from now on and will never let anybody harm you again! I swear on my parents life!" He says softly as he took her shivering form in his arms cradling her.

Ava looked up at his glowing eyes and gasped in shock but also being mesmerized at the same time before darkness took over and she fell into a deep pit of darkness.
